he is cool in the comics and all but this is another movie waiting to flop

By flop, you mean, break box office records?
-
What records? Bats vs Supes was dismal and got smoked by Deadpool. And SS broke a record for sales on a Monday in august. Wow. I didn't hate either movie, and liked SS WAY more; but unless you're a teenage boy or little kid (who those movies are aimed at), you can't really compare them to say.... TFA, or Deadpool. Can't wait for Dr Strange. I think that might end up outselling every movie this year so far.
-
I was using hyperbole, but you can't deny both films were financially successful.
-
As another guy here mentioned, they were going to regardless of how good they were or not. You know they could've been better. I love comic books, so I hope they are as much as anyone else. But seriously? Afflack and Fresh Prince? You gotta see the cheese oozing through right?
-
They did well as their characters
-
Hey man. I was there too. It took me about 3 years to admit The Phantom Menace was awful. I wouldn't admit even to myself that it sucked. Either way, it's just some movies, they're just actors, and we're just fans with opinions. I don't think you're wrong and I'm right by any measure.
-
I really have no intense feelings for these movies one way or another. They're passable, in my opinion. Average, and entertaining.
-
Fully. Agree with you there. I actually had a debate with a close friend of mine over SS. My rationale was that I went into it expecting what it was. Therefore I wasn't really disappointed. He sounded like every critic. I made fun of him for wearing a theater monocle to a comic book movie. Haha. I just don't like Will Smith in anything but Fresh Prince and MIB. I also really don't like Affleck. So, there's my bias. Also, I'm a dumbass for saying Deathstroke. He's Deadshot. I'm sure someone will correct me. Oh well. I really liked Harley and Enchantress. Even her "wiggle dance". https://youtu.be/A5cD1Rfpz-M

It's hard to like Affleck sometimes, but I gotta say, I don't hate him as batman. And I agree with you about people taking comic book movies too seriously and treating it as if it were a failed attempt at a work of art.
-
The movies are still terrible
-
I politely disagree
-
no i heard the other movies got kinda bad reviews
-
The movies are made for comic book fans, not critics. I personally enjoyed them. Also, the movies made like a bajillion dollars each.
-
yet marvel movies has gotten good score?
-
Probably because they don't take themselves as seriously.
-
Or better writters? don't get me wrong i am fan of both dc and marvel.
-
I don't think so, and I like Marvel better.
