4 RepliesMy favorite things to say to U.R. users: Its okay bro, some people just can't wait for special to drop. Limited shotgun ammo just makes crucible unplayable for you I understand. Nah bro I feel you, Real primaries are just too hard to use sometimes. Some people can only get kills with special weapons man it's alright. Lololll saltiest responses ever. I honestly love it. I hope the UR scrubs never end.

2 RepliesUR is annoying until I remember that the point of a gun is to kill things from far away. The best counter to any weapon is smart game play. If I get killed by a UR it's because I failed to read the situation correctly.

1 ReplyI hate players that run around with universal. But I can't hate the gun. In itself, it is a good exotic. And trading off a primary and losing range seems right to me. I don't use it because I'm not so desperate to need a weapon that will one hit. But I did like running it with a sidearm in the past. All in all, good gun but the user base is getting too damn high.

I have over 1200+ kills with The Universal Remote so I know all its weaknesses and strengths. Op and crutch shouldn't be mentioned with this gun. It's kinda like Thorn and The Last Word, it's obnoxious to fight against but no op in any way. [spoiler]The bad •It has 26 less impact than the Conspiracy Theory quest shotgun. •8 less range than both Party Crasher and Conspiracy Theory •Takes up your exotic slot •Prevents user from engaging in mid range combat •In order to get a consistent ohk from a solid range, some of the pellets have to hit the head •Going on a long killstreak leaves you looking for white ammo boxes(Just like NLB) The good •Always have ammo •Most range for any shotgun(only when using the exotic perk) •Turns the user into a cqc beast •Allows the user to use a shotty/sniper loadout Edit: Also with the nerf on Hammer Forged, that actually caused this gun to lose range. 3 RepliesI don't even care about the gun that much but the argument " is hasnt been touched since year one so leave it alone" is not only the dumbest argument anyone could think of but is also just not true. Just because it hasn't been "buffed" (did get a range boost) since year one doesn't mean it's fine the way it is. Every shotgun ( with the acception of UR) doesn't spawn with Max ammo, this makes the UR better than every other shotgun in that you don't have to worry about conserving ammo. Primary ttk has been increased so much that just having a shotgun as you primary instantly makes you netter than someone with a standard primary (if you avoid long sight lines and such) Hell if you are worried about long distance engagement you can just run UR and a sniper. Im not a fan of nerfing things to make the game better but If Bungie plans on nerfing things in this game based on balance then the UR is absolutely the next thing on the chopping block.

19 RepliesPlayed a team of 3 in elimination. All 3 had this crutch equipped. My team had to get sweaty af to outplay this range beast. Many tbags were given as we succeeded and went back to orbit.
