What kind of goodies are we in store for I wonder.. My only question is regards to the April 14th HOORAH: Do we have to get matched up against the Bungie crew to nab the prize? Or just play Halo 2? Also which playlist is popular in the Studios?

Awesome update. I honestly didn't expect a weapon palette on Powerhouse and Swordbase; thanks! Swordbase to be the best map in the Public Beta IMO. I would love to see that Blame Stosh. It just seems so... awesome. Maybe you could spoil us in the next update? :P

Wait to get that symbol for our Halo Reach profile, are you saying we have to play against you in a match or just play on that day, because I have been playing Halo 2 many times over the years and think it would be cool to have the emblem/symbol.

There's something I gotta know about the Needler, does it work like the CE one? When it shot you, it only did a sliver of damage, but when the needle exploded a half second later, that's when it hurt.

Like I said a few posts up, Halo 2 won't allow me to play Match making because every time I load the game it says, "Such and such data has been corrupted, try re-downloaded the DLC." Can we get some more details on exactly what we have to do on the 14th to get this visual bonus in Reach? It's a school night, so I'm probably not going to be staying up 'till midnight. I'm guessing that any game logged on the 14th will count? [Edited on 04.09.2010 5:19 PM PDT]

I don't really think that has changed since then and now, as a hitscan needle rifle would not only ruin the nice aesthetic of watching needles fly through the air, it would likely unbalance the weapon.

Gonna check the weekly updates through. TY. EDIT: It was January's last update. Didn't have full list really though, just noting that AR, DMR, Sniper, Magnum are hitscan. Obviously Focus Rifle is also hitscan, since it's a beam like the sentinel beam. [Edited on 04.09.2010 5:33 PM PDT]

Those maps look beautiful, can't wait to play them on May 3rd. Hope April 14th is a grand send off for Halo 2. Spent so many hours playing that game...will be sad to see it go.

Oh, and Urk, although you did a good job talking about the Needler and the Needle Rifle, you didn't talk about the Gravity Hammer. I realize it's the only Brute Weapon you've revealed so far and your trying to downplay the fact that Brutes are in Campaign, but would you mind explaining any major changes to it in the next Weekly Update?
