you do realize that when katrina happened; the ARMY was mobilized and had orders to shoot looters on sight also some people of color were delayed on their rescue as they were thought to be of gang affiliation or homeless-----> which meant they were not a priority so yea it kinda matters in situations of life or death that people are not discriminated or judged by appearances

 • yea look at wikileaks the dod comms and reports from katrina clean up response also just google the; katrina death dome that was the nickname of the superbowl stadium evacuation center as conditions there got quite bad yet those conditions were still on the whole better than those who got left behind outside in flooded new orleans or just go talk to some one who was actually there

 • see the USA standard operating procedural protocol for securing a disaster area objective 1: secure high value assets and targets objective 2: create a perimeter of security and put a stop to looting, crime and disorganized chaos of the situation objective 3: any criminals who persist/resist---> shoot on sight that's actual SOP regarding those situations also the army wasn't the only ones doing it http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/04/21/us/hurricane-katrina-new-orleans-danziger-bridge-shootings.html?_r=0 https://www.army.mil/article/45029/The_Army_response_to_Hurricane_Katrina took em 2 months to decontaminate 60% of drinking water only 9,000 were air evacuated from the disaster, only 1143 persons were decontaminated---> out of millions only 1.9 million MREs were air dropped in for civilians (only enough to feed 330,000 people for 1 day) only 1.7 million liters of water were air dropped in (that only covers a 3 day supply for 325,000 people) https://www.propublica.org/nola/story/nopd-order-to-shoot-looters-hurricane-katrina/ the order to shoot looters given to police came from the army http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/did-special-forces-snipers-kill-americans-after-katrina/ interview with a blackwater contractor sniper deployed to katrina relief for security http://mobile.nytimes.com/2010/08/27/us/27racial.html more NY times coverage of the fiasco http://m.motherjones.com/environment/2009/08/secret-history-hurricane-katrina more http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2014/07/blackwater-snipers-killed-thousands-of-katrina-victims-2989736.html lil sketchy but if you look at wikileaks blackwater comms docs; it's actually true next time you hear some one say google it do try it takes 5 mins an prevents you from looking the fool.

 • Well you secure your hvts first, bring back order, and then worry about the rest. They were looking at this from a purely operational stand point, it makes perfect since.

 • Lol, absolutely none of that touched on this statement; also some people of color were delayed on their rescue as they were thought to be of gang affiliation or homeless-----> which meant they were not a priority All of that you posted, and nothing touched on this statement. So please, save your insults and back up your crap.

 • the ARMY only sent enough relief supplies for 1/8th the ppl down there for 3 DAYS; which would have had to be further rationed out to last from when the event happened until almost 2 months later when most of the drinking water was mostly decontaminated. the orders were to shoot looters on sight Louisiana is 65-73% African American on population only 9,000 ppl got evacuated by air every one else was either sent to superdome or bussed out or left behind the cops were also told to shoot looters on sight and PMCs like blackwater were literally shooting pretty much any one. and well thanks to BLM we all know how discriminatory police down south actually are plus I TOLD YOU TO GOOGLE IT: GOOGLE: KATRINA DISCRIMINATION im not gonna give you the damned answer and hold your hand and do all the work for you. ive already proven you partially wrong: spend 5 min on google and find out the rest. im not gonna take 20 min of my time to track down 30 articles from the major associated press and internal DOD memos, re read them all and post them up here just so you can just come back with some BS response and not bother reading any of the links yourself.

 •
the ARMY only sent enough relief supplies for 1/8th the ppl down there for 3 DAYS; which would have had to be further rationed out to last from when the event happened until almost 2 months later when most of the drinking water was mostly decontaminated.
Ok,nothing to do with discrimination
the orders were to shoot looters on sight Louisiana is 65-73% African American on population only 9,000 ppl got evacuated by air every one else was either sent to superdome or bussed out or left behind the cops were also told to shoot looters on sight and PMCs like blackwater were literally shooting pretty much any one.
More crap thay doesn't pertain to my question
and well thanks to BLM we all know how discriminatory police down south actually are
Nice assumption.
plus I TOLD YOU TO GOOGLE IT: GOOGLE: KATRINA DISCRIMINATION
And I told you, i'm not doing your footwork. That's not how it works sport
im not gonna give you the damned answer and hold your hand and do all the work for you.
You make the claim, I ask you to back it up. That's how the real world works sport. I'm not backing your crap up for you
ive already proven you partially wrong:
You haven't proven crap except that you're full of it. All I'm asking for is a link that backs up this claim; also some people of color were delayed on their rescue as they were thought to be of gang affiliation or homeless-----> which meant they were not a priority Don't make claims unless you can back them
spend 5 min on google and find out the rest.
Lol, you say to "spend 5 min on Google to find it" yet, you've spent more time with your replies. If it's only 5 min, why haven't you produced it?
im not gonna take 20 min of my time to track down 30 articles
Is it 5 min or 20 min? Make up your mind. And you're the one making the claims without having the sources to back it? How cute....
from the major associated press and internal DOD memos, re read them all and post them up here just so you can just come back with some BS response and not bother reading any of the links yourself.
Odd, you had enough time to link 7, 8 articles in your previous post, that had nothing to do with what I'm asking, but you can't link ONE source to back up your erroneous claim? Youre making this is too easy........ "I can't spend 5 min to back up crap" - (spends 10 in on bogus replies) Lol

 • you ever see what ppl in a disaster area look like? every one is either half dressed or wearing rags. Louisiana, has a majority of low income, poorly educated, african americans as it's state population illiterate + rags/half naked yea there was lots of judging the after action reports from the national guard after katrina detail that more than 2/3rds of the people the national guard was supposed to rescue---> simply were left behind. also a few hundred to 5000 ppl were shot at or forcibly left (the people tried to approach to get rescued; they were either shot at or told at gun point to back off and remain where they were) like seriously the response from the DOD to katrina was literally appalling
