Why would Sony pay for exclusives and let Bungie sell those exclusives and make revenue from what Sony paid for?

I understand Sony paid to have exclusive content, but their players would get the content for free. This may be a stretch for a solution, but maybe the revenue from the Xbox marketplace would go to Sony. Its ridiculous and very unlikely, but it is possible. Like I said, Bungie should consider and look into whatever possibilities they have.

Then Bungie has nothing to gain and it'll completely defeat the purpose of "exclusives" and will make Xbox almost pay to "win."

Well, considering almost half their player base is Xbox, they have a lot to gain.

Bungie doesn't have any monetary gain. Why would they set up that system to allow sale of exclusives, that Sony paid for, to Xbox? The revenue would then go to Sony. There is no logic there.
