I only remember quitting a match once. I was doing the exotic sword quest, getting sword kills in crucible. Match after match I couldn't get any heavy ammo, was raging at random teammates who would pop it before I could get there.
Then when I got it, I was getting rocketed before I could take a swipe at anyone.
Once I got mad, then I was stupidly rage-charging as soon as I got heavy, which only made things worse.
So when I finally got my last kill, I immediately quit the match I was in.

For future reference wait until mayhem. And play with friends lol. Makes it way easier

You can use the hilt for kills. You'll get more with that than the ammo'd up sword as that's just once per round.

Yeah, I know. I never tried that. I guess what stuck in my head was this one warlock on Frontier, vainly trying to kill me with a hilt. I mercilessly gunned her down over and over as she tried to maneuver around crates to get at me......

Oh it was done a long time ago. Was just reminiscing about the only time I remember quitting a crucible match mid-game. But thanks for the support!

Twas a little bit of a frustrating party of the quest. I did it three times, because apparently I like the punishment? :x

I definitely did [i]not[/i] like the punishment. Was much worse for me than the planetary materials farming part......
