    The raid exotic, sure. All of the legendaries? Nah. I'm cool if we could get 1 exotic for each element. That way you do have options but it also takes up your exotic slot. Nothing wrong with having to make some tradeoffs. For the raid legendaries, I'd just like them to actually be [u]good[/u] again. I'll take some unique and interesting perk combos over an elemental burn any day. I didn't use Fang of Ir Yut much, for example. cuz the perks were lame. Unless there was an arc burn I'd rather have my trusty Badger CCL with outlaw/firefly. Hit like a truck, had max range (literally - 100 range with hammer forged) and instant reload every time you saw something blow up. It was glorious.

  • They won't do elemental burns on primary's ! However different guns will have dot poison perks. That's why where getting thorn and mark my words siva guns will have some sort of dot effect caused by siva!

  • That or maybe a consumable, like ammo synths, that give your primary slot an element for a short time. It's powerful but it isn't constant, so both we and bungie get half of what we want.

    • I want elemental primaries back, but Ill take that a step further. I think all exotic weapons should have elementals and I think they should be re-roll-able with glass needles. This would justify multiple copies of the same thing as well as give specific apps for items that could not previously be used. Finally it would stop punishing gamers for hitting a "Taken" presence on a planet with completely separate standard elemental shields, i.e. Cabal with arc Cabal taken. Bungle screwed the pooch on ammo drops because of their p.v.p. nerfs and still hasn't resolved the issue. This forces players to burn synth after synth to have ammo to deal with scenarios. Elemental primaries would solve this, but I as Bungle has 0 respect for their customers I really don't see it happening.

        • Yep, there should be one for each element. It really won't make that much difference nowadays plus modifiers will force people to change things up.

        • I dont want JUST raid elementals back. I want all elementals back. And preferably the ability to make primaries into elementaries. That way we can keep that "diversity" that was so necessary. (truth of the matter is, elements didnt affect diversity for me. I have always, and will continue to always, only use the guns that look cool to me. So if bungo wants more diversity, make more badass looking guns.)

        • It's the only reason to do the raid. You can level up other ways now. The raid is pointless now in terms of using anything from it

          I may be crazy for thinking this.. But I think they [i]are[/i] coming back. The raid pulse rifle was described as having a perk where precision kills send out seeking energy projectiles, and I just can't imagine a weapon with that kind of talent being kinetic. It wouldn't make sense to me, especially since the energy is likely to do some kind of elemental damage (just like the solar seeking energy projectile the Fallen enemy emitted upon death in the Winter Cosmodrome reveal stream). It is possible, though, that they've met some kind of middle ground and given us weapons that have elemental talents, but not ammunition. If that isn't the case, I would love to see something like an elemental core that can be infused into any primary weapon, but only once. If sandbox diversity was really the main reason why they removed the elements, which I personally don't believe it was, then they would technically be better off either rolling elemental damage on all primaries or allowing you to infuse your preferred element into them. It would essentially triple the amount of choices available. [spoiler]I would have to imagine that most of us see right through Bungie's bs at this point, though. They removed elements for the same reason they nerfed our beloved Gjally: raising completion times. Sandbox diversity and a community rift were cushy little covers for them to increase the grind.[/spoiler]
