What's the Highest Possible Attack/Defense/Light Level for the Base Game Without Xbox Live Gold?
I don't have any DLC's or Xbox Live Gold. I hit level 34 on all 3 of my classes. My current attack for weapons is around 160 and same with the Light level. What is the max light level, weapon attack, and defense for just the base game without any Gold or DLC's?
Also, Are all the legendary items limited to level 40? The only legendary stuff I have at the moment is the ship, "Vintage Russian Soul" and the Stranger's Rifle. I also won some legendary fusion and pulse rifles as well as the Spektar Gauntlets and Greaves. If some legendary items aren't for only level 40, how can I obtain them other than engrams?

However, to acquire these items or the Materials to upgrade then to that Value requires Xbox Live Gold, as many of these Items are acquired from Raids (Vault of Glass and Crota's End) or the Prison of Elders Challenge Modes (Prison of Elders Level 32, 34, 35). The maximum Light you can teach with Year 1 Gear should be around 170 Light. It might be slightly higher or lower That is also the reason why many players deleted their old Year 1 Gear. Year 2 Gear can reach much higher values, currently up to 335 Attack/Defense. Year 1 Gear can still be used in many Activities, but are too weak for the tougher Year 2 Activities such as the Weekly Nightfall Strike.

2 Repliesjust flat-out vanilla and no gold? im pretty sure cap would be slightly higher than what your already at, so 175 would be my edumatated guestimate. i want to say you can possibly see some usable purples drop, but without strikes i cant see a scenario where they would drop. OH! vault of glass maybe? do you need gold to raid? sorry bro, but i think your almost capped for silver vanilla.
