How Old Were You When You First Experienced Halo?
I was about 11 or 12 at a friends house. I didn't have an xbox yet so I was really excited every time I went over because I knew we'd play Halo!. The good memories are still there though. You?

Well, i was 11 years old. I remember i went to walmart with about $21. I was asking my mom if i could get a video game and she said "cheap". So we went to the 360 case and i saw it. Halo 3, Platinum Hits for a surprising $18. I was figuring my mom wouldnt let me get it but, i guess i was wrong. So i went right home and called my dad and asked him, "Wanna play Halo with my tonight?" and i was probably one the of the worst shooters POSSIBLE! I swear i can never forget the time i was such a terrible player, and turned into a level 10 seargant in only 1 1/2 months.

I was about 9 or 10, I think. I went round to my friends house and played it on his pc, was playing Multiplayer with him and his dad. I wiped the floor with them, :D

I was like 6-8 ish for my birthday got an xbox and got halo. My first real memory came when I got to the 'the library' I shat myself it was scary.

i was fifteen. :D playing everyday after high school. it was strictly halo: ce campaign while jamming deftones: white pony and around the fur. sorta makes me want to cry. :)

I was around 5 years old when it was released, but when I was 8 years old my brother got a job and brought home an xbox and a few games. The only games I had played before this were mario 64 and Madden on rainy days or when all my friends were gone) And I invited my best friend over and it was my first experience with an FPS and it was meh for me until I got into the mother-blam!- warthog holy -blam!- sold me right there

It was when Halo was first released for xbox, so I think sometime in 2001, so I was about 9. It was at my grandparents on my cousins xbox and I wasn't allowed to play rated M games. But as soon as I played it I was an instant fan. I bought my own xbox and borrowed my cousins version and played it all the way through. I can't even count the number of times I have played it, I still play it now even with the release of all of the new games. Its just a good game and a classic.

EDIT: Don't forget to tell of the first experience or memories![/quote] i was about 7 or 8 when i went to my cuisons and played halo 2 once i think it was 2005 (a mistake by him but good for me) a few hours later i wanted an xbox and after moaning got a second hand one (luckily it came with halo 1 and 2)only to get my dad addicted (we used to play campaign together and for a few months halo 3 multiplayer) to halo but he went off it when mw2 came out even to this day hes an addict and thats all he plays now (he`s got some taste (*sarcasm*)) but since halo 3 i made sure that i pre-orderd the next halo games

I was 12, I got an original xbox and combat evolved for only 35$. The second I played the campaign I was hooked.

Some time in elementary school. My brother and his friend was playing halo 1, so I decided to watch. I played it quite a lot after that, only thing was that I was very scared of the elites and the flood and if the elites rushed me I would pause the game and restart the mission.

I must of been 9 or 10. My dad had bought an xbox and got halo with it. At first he would only let me watch because it was M, but soon was doing co-op campaign. We went straight to Legendary and played through the entire campaign. That's probably why I'm accustomed to Legendary for other Halos....

11 years old at my cousins place, he said he bought a game called "halo" i looked at the case and wasn't interested but he insisted i play the campaign with him. so i did, AND it changed my life forever [Edited on 07.20.2011 4:46 PM PDT]

6 years old, I was at my neighbor's house and he was babysitting me and he was playing, I walked in and said "What's that and why are you killing people?" and he said "This is a video game called Halo, and those are aliens." I said "Can I try?" and he said, "Fine, but don't tell your mother." ... That's when video games took over my life. :D good times...
