Hey guys, so I've been looking at the masters of destiny sniping, Hovey, True Vanguard, Daygon, etc. and I thought that I would pick it up. After a little bit of practice, I think I finally have some good snipes to show yall. I went to put together a montage (found some great music by TheFatRat, what an epic dude) and I realized how hard it was to edit. I put around 29 hours into the editing of this baby and I realized that it definitely isn't the best. I use adobe after effects and I would love some of you editing masters to give me some tips on how to properly use after effects. All I did was smack some clips together and put some music in the background. I would love to learn how to blur, slo-mo, and basically make all my transitions better. Anyways, thanks for reading my topic. If you have any tips on how to help out my youtube channel then that would be greatly appreciated as well! Thats it - VeloDome out.
Not sure where to put this... I'll just put it into Destiny - Competitive...

This is what I did purely with ShareFactory. Just like the previous comment, if you're not adding 3D fx or animations, stick to a more basic editor and you could get the feel for the whole editing process better.

In reality if you're not wanting to do complicated effects and 3D stuff, you should probably switch to a standard non linear video editing program, like Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas or Final Cut Pro. After effects is a lot more fun and powerful to use, and is what I use, but if you just want to do basic things, a NLE is probably best.
