I really don't mean to rain on your parade as I love Harry Potter as well but I believe the reference to be directed at the philosophers stone used in Alchemy.

Yea some of that stuff is amazing. If this stuff interests you I highly suggest reading the alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Amazing book.
