you are still on a crusade to get rid of something that you have a choice to use or not to use...appears that all you want is to develop an atmosphere so that when it is deleted it appears that the community was ok with it...seen this happen over and over again with most if not all of these stupid changes...next will be aim assist, GOM, too late for DOP, and titan striker...this is what is wrong with these forums and Destiny...as I stated before if you don't like 3oC, don't use them and quit trippin in how another guardian may or may not have received his/her exotics...reminds of a nosey neighbor always looking over the fence in someone else's business...life would be nice if we just worry about our own...this whole crusade thing smells fishy.

I didn't ask to get rid of them. But seems like you didn't read this one and just wanted to judge immediately. I even stated why we are technically required to use them.

of course I read it...would be irresponsible to comment if I did not...I do not think that Bungie needs to further tick off, imo a large section of the community who would disagree with the elimination of 3oC especially at this time when the goal is to get as many people to 335 as possible before ROI drops...after that a solution I talked about on a previous similar post you created several days ago would be to have exotics drop from any source (dregs, material sources, chests, etc) similar to Borderlands which is both more rewarding as far as loot goes and would stretch the game a little with more exploration and any enemy may slow down rushing through strikes to get to the end boss when that dreg, captain or wizard you ran by may also "spit" out an exotic...once the community and stats show that the community is positively responding then dial back or maybe eliminate with an announcement stating such...now is a setback Destiny does not need...got eight more years, no rush...lol

true, but it brought out the people who want to take away 3oC, without a good substitute and the people who still want them...if anything it started a good conversation which is always good, and thank you for that.

Anytime buddy. I feel like people feel like debate is bad and that it's always argument, however. What I have with you and most others is strictly debate to find an equal ground. This was a way to cater to everyone. Making the feeling of getting exotics better by taking out exotic engrams while also allowing people to customize what type of armor they'd get so they would still be able to keep the way of technically changing over engrams to other characters. That's what I was trying to go for with this update. Get a middle ground between people, find ways so people can choose whether they want to use 3oC's while also trying to increase the play on activities that don't essentially get played (Patrol and Daily Missions/Crucible)

59...started with Coleco...lol...have a son who is in the industry with several games to his credit and plays professionaly...but seen a lot and love games (casually).

yes...Sid Meir's, COD2, others I can't remember but he mainly just plays now, mostly over seas in Taiwan now...I play for fun but as I get older my hand eye coordination is degrading...wish I was young when Destiny came out...still fun.

I see, your son having a hand in CoD 2 is really big along with any other games, but having a hand in a big franchise is a huge accomplishment and I send my regards to you and your family. I am very sorry about your hand eye coordination going down, eventaully I'll be there sooner or later, but at least now you can just have fun and play the game instead of wanting nerfs and buffs. (Sadly I would be classified under those people with my posts).

well thank you...yeah us old guys have to re-learn everything thing after every new change, which is one reason I have stopped playing about 75% since last update...but I recall he got somewhat tired of the fights between the creative guys and the money math guys in the studios...take care of yourself but this is a young person's game and should stay that way....we old guys will grumble and complain but we will still play in fun...nice talking to you.

Of course. Nice talking to you too, hard to find friendly voices out here on the forums. If you'd ever want to talk or play, I'll always be around, maybe not on or just playing Destiny, but still around to be able to talk or get on. Not sure what console however though. Take care of yourself as well. Thank you a lot for what you have said, even though I may want some changes to the exotics and how to make them more special, you have helped me also realize, this isn't my game. No matter what, if 3oC's remained unchanged, I would not have cared one bit or hated the game. Seems like people think that's what my goal is.

thanks for your candor...I am PS4 but only for Destiny...mainly PC, but prefer solo so I can play at my slow pace...lol...but sorry if I sounded a little rough but this 3oC thing pops up all the time and with the recent update I decided to chime in...again thank you and go make difference.
