Haven't thought about it too much.
Straight > Curly/wavy
Ponytails are good usually, I don't mind whatever their hair's natural state is though. A fringe can be alright.

The only times I like straight hair is if it's in a high ponytail, or it's a hime cut... Most people (at least the ones that I've seen) don't have enough volume to pull off straight hair.
