This Week in the Flood.... 12/6/14

Welcome to the first edition of Flood Weekly. You're summary of the ongoing conflicts within our very own forum. Don't feel like scrolling through a weeks worth of shite? This is the place for you, all of the weekly shite in one place. Confidently separated into a series of organized sections it's just like a normal newspaper, good for bunghole wiping when you've run out of toilet paper in the background. This Week in Baits: This week we saw a new type of thread emerge. Although they've always remained dormant throughout the weeks of the Flood, we've seen them sprout up once again. Follower threads. These threads are made to bait in as many followers as possible. Although what seemed to begin as a joke made by Se7en about his follower count soon became something much bigger. Brought to its peak by the thread made by Griizly Bear where in which he garnered a possible thirty followers, although the exact numbers can't be know. As to where and when they came from. Numerous other threads sprouted through out to bait in more followers for several Floodians. Most if them unsuccessful. Late in the week, a thread made to garner followers was made by Jedi Revan. Revan created a thread in which to meet a follower goal which would allow him to marry Enderwolf1013. He later edited the post with gratefulness showing that it was indeed a troll. Yet this didn't stop Griizly Bear from setting the tremendous goal of 100 followers parodied from Jedi. He met his goal in one measly day. Well played Griizly. Well played. This Week in Sad News: Sandtrap, as some of you may know has been diagnosed with a brain tumor that had been dormant. The Cancer is now aggressively attacking him and he is left with a projected 90 day lifespan. Chemo may help but all that is left to do is hope. Verbatim, a long time asshole has deliver a sincere apology to the Bungie community and was well accepted by most, while Ktan, promised to stop his condescending nature and to discontinue his trolls for a truer foruming life. His apology was not very well accepted by the community. This Week in Shite: Recently we've seen a couple of posts emerge from the well-known posters Gatsby and Fartmonkey, of course in the form of Shite, but hey as long as it's entertaining right? Well it's not, unfortunately. So keep scrolling my friends, keep scrolling. This Week in Dying Posts: Most posts are a hit and a miss, some getting no attention, some getting maybe a couple hundred replies, but some receive massive amounts of replies, but at some point also fade away. This week we see the popularity of Shewolf's Selfie Thread dwindle. While the occasional bump will push it to the top of the list we can tell that it just isn't as popular as it used to be. R.I.P. In Peace, This Week Outside: So apparently the Desticles are very mad about a new Bungie update, and Xbox went down... Interesting, but we don't care so moving along... The reclamation of Gaming seems to be moving along successfully but of course the stragglers and the Trolls continue to fight their wars within the comfort of their bedroom. Honorable Mentions: Biosmiley and Enderwolf1013 were both unbanned this week, while many others of unhonorable mention most likely were as well. This concludes this week's issue, stayed tuned for next week and all of the Flood's bitterness. In the mean while, stay classy Flood.
