Sooo i have a theory. I think flinch in this game doesnt work as they intend... i think that when u light up a sniper with primary due to lag it doesnt enact the flinch on the snipers screen quick enough. Therefore when he scopes in on u while ur firing he still gets the headshot. I think they need to look at flinch and revamp it a bit not only in that respect but make scout headshots flinch more depending on archtype. (Example slow firing scouts should cause more flinch than mida)

No its just that recoil is near linear when your being shot at from the direction your looking so it's not that it's just that it's easy to counter I mean try shooting while being doctorined from the side vs from the front. The front is much easier.

I dont think its all that linear tho. Flinch is based on number of bullets not impact per bullet so docterines will mess u up. That being said if the flinch code isnt run on time it will seem like a linear recoil pattern just from the guns recoil itself.

Well when you get shot the visual reticle and the actual place you shoot moves, it's not instant meaning you still can hit them even if they hit you before you shoot. But most high skill snipers take the shot before. Most average players line up a shot to shoot.
