I dislike how there are only so many exotic items there is a hard limit as to how many are available in the game. Not to mention the "upgrading" of the items is very limited. I'm curious how many people feel the same as I do.
Solution:
1)Every item in the game should have a chance to turn exotic in a drop/reward scenario, where they can be upgraded using the following crafting idea.
2) There should be some type of subclass for crafting items. Choices of crafting weapon parts (rare/legendary/exotic) that could fit a specific gun auto rifle/shotgun/pistol that could change the color of explosion/explosive rounds/fire rounds/horseshoe grenades etc you get the point. Then we could have crafting for armor. Also we could have crafting for clothing in which the armor would be placed in... ultimately we need more things to grind for to build our ultimate character.
What are your thoughts/ideas?

I feel like the armory is pretty well rounded. There is a piece of gear for most situations. Exotic items arent always the best to equip and when you include all of the possible legendary options, the only thing thats left is cosmetic. Just imo.

Good idea for a deeper/nerdier RPG, but Destiny is a shooter at heart so I imagine it would be too much for a lot of the target market. Also, balancing potentially millions of weapon variants would be a nightmare.
