While running this week's nightfall, I got an idea about the vents right before the final battle area.
How many would want more hidden ghosts based on location in relevance to other guardians who were coming back down and suddenly met their fate in a strike area?
How about a given planet or the dreadnaught having new ??? enemy areas? There's remote areas in every portion of our explorable areas. Call it hints of threats to come. Similar in concept to how certain patrols on the dreadnaught will feature the Hive controlling areas normally in control of the Cabal. Same overall concept and gives us a reason to team up and enter said area's to avoid being decimated.
And finally, the raids.
How about sections of the raid where new enemies of differing capabilities were put in place of a trick or puzzle or battle area?
Take King's Fall or VoG.
VoG- Gorgon's Labyrinth - The second door? Off to the side with possibly praedyth's remains inside? What if, since discovering the paradox... that by looking at his remains? We open the other portal? What if that portal didn't show us Taken this time, but ??? enemies and the puzzle was to figure out how to kill them before they "banished" you from the realm (blinding light, it says 'teleported' on the screen, and your outside Atheon's door basically).
King's Fall- The portico- We all know about the chest with moldering shards in it. What would happen if, in a future update, we also find a random ghost shell right off to the side of there and our ghost telling us to go back? New ships, new route, but this time? We descend down and as we are descending? Taken hobgoblin snipers spawn in? Ghost warns us, we shoot them all down, and when you get to the bottom? Three Taken guards are present and a door at the end. Make it past them and you find a guardian corpse with taken mutations growing on it. Like the darkness was trying to absorb the light directly into it?
These ideas are meant to be built on. So build on them.
