Who cares!! i don't mean to be an a**hole but what are we supposed to do about it. i like rap and rock (mainly rock), but if it sounds good then good for the artist(s) and if it doesn't sound good then the artist(s) should be beaten up and thrown into a wall and never make another song. I think that is the most logical answer you can have for this sort of thing.

The spectrum looks quite good, from what i can see, but please allow me to edit it a little - Rap - Blues - Country - Classical - Jazz - Rock - Metal In this one, Classical starts it all, but then the path splits, one route going down the "Sing about Life" road, (Left), while the other is a more rhythm based route, with Lyrics almost as an Afterthought. (Right) Of course, its a but more complicated than this, you can get blues-rock and other hybrids, but this is the simplist way to put it, complete opposites can not be mixed. The problem is that if we flipped rock and country like that it wouldn't be based on the use of natural instruments. Then it wouldn't be a spectrum.
