New Meta
Well Guardians what do you think the new meta will be? All high rate of fire Autos get nerfed. (r.i.p. arminius, Doctrine, necrochasm) Fusions get a stability buff across the board, but the tracking for dregs promise has been increased as well. Meanwhile machine guns get less ammo (bye terminus, thunderlord, ruin wake). It's going to be interesting to see what emerges so here's my prediction.
Suros Regime/ apple of discord
Dregs Promise/ thesan
Truth/ swords
Keep it friendly Guardians. What's your ideas?

I hate rockets, i used em year one until i started getting half decent at pvp. I then went to MGs and had fun, seeing as I'd usually trade after 3 or so kills. I'm never salty about mg deaths, but constant rockets? [spoiler]I'd use swords more, but when i can rarely ever beat a shotgun/last word/fusion it puts me off. I always manage to be JUST too far away. [/spoiler]

Just because weapons have been nerf don't mean "bye-bye" look at thorn? People thought it was dead because people don't know what skills was (well thorn has not been skilled since the very start of destiny) but it was still OP. And my meta will forever be Last word and sniper 4life

Stick that 3 body shot kill up your ass now TLW - now you really have to know how to use it to melt (I don't, never did) Snipers - I'm glad they adressed them, it was getting -blam!-ing rediculus with how easy they could be used in all distances. I live how they play in this game, but they needed to tone it down. Won't affect krafty, but it will affect average Joe guardian Ice Breaker/Sidearm cheese (just -blam!- off with that now, go suck on a wall) Shotgun sunsingers - can't punch your way up the ELO list anymore Fast rez - "...and stay dead!" I can not tell you how many times my team went leaps and bounds ahead of the opposing team KD-wise in Trials and still lost. I actually met a guy in a raid that told me how his team used a strat where two of them would die on purpose, then he would rez them quickly and they would quickly demolish the opposing team with 3 overshielded people in Trials. Sounds crazy, I know. But it worked.

Red death/fusion, high impact pulse/dregs promise will be good combos.

It's gonna be a mixed bag. I think scouts like mida and hung jury wil still be bests especially in ranged encounters against auto rifles. Suros will definitely be back and should be a fun use. Hand cannons might see a drop in usage. And we might see secondary variety now with fusion rifles and dregs promise.
