And the cabal with all their military might are running away from the darkness. Yeah you build an army and charge in blindly. I am with DO I'll be sipping my margaritas on a beach planet far far away. At the same time researching the reasons you failed, to overcome the darkness in the future.

Well, I'd like to see how you'll get past the Reef.
-
Go around it?
-
Got him
-
Look. The point is, humanity already tried escaping the darkness. It file, result was the Reef, a bunch of dead ships. So you dead orbit emos, you think you are better then that. I don't think so. Have fun floating I space, slowly dying because you haven't any oxygen
-
*sigh* What do you think that happened at the Reef? They didn't stopped there for fun!
-
Sigh the reef does not surround the earth completely it is not a 2d world if we are going by lore.
-
The cabal are actually running away from their empire. Their empire will kill them if they stop running Into a fight.
-
Problems with that 1) we don't even know if there are planets within traveling distance that aren't filled with armies of the darkness 2) we are not like the cabal. The cabal are just a normal race of aliens fighting. We are basically walking gods. We can literally burn the darkness with our will power. Have you ever watched the enemy races fight? The higher up enemies are tanky as shit, forget a spider tank or something like that. Then we walk in there and wipe the floor with them because wow how much power the light gives us
-
Not every human is a guardian, compare gaurdians to strike bosses they are the cream of the crop.
-
Well, no we are not comparable to strike bosses, there are way way more of us. Plus most of people in the FWC are guardians so...
-
If that was true we wouldn't be in the position we are now in.
-
Were in this position because we previously couldn't kill their gods and such. Guardians have taken a while but they are getting more and more powerful the more we learn about our enemies. The problem is there is basically no stop to the enemies. They just keep coming.

They didn't build a big enough army. I don't know their history but I'm willing to bet they used to have one law and two armies, then oryx came and they weren't ready. Oryx is one law and two armies too but he's got a god card playing for him.
-
A civilization that has a sole purpose of military might did not have a big enough army?
-
You missed two things. *we don't know their history so it's possible they use to operate under one law and two armies. *Oryx had a god card playing for him.
