Great video! I really love it that there are people like you who take the time to get into the numbers to give us more knowledge. I watched a bunch of your other videos and subscribed. I would like to know what you think about overpowered vs overused. So many people claim that The Last Word isn't overpowered but that it's used a lot. Considering it has the fast potential TTK for a primary (excluding the obvious ohk weapons) along with fast handling, it seems to still be too strong to me. I know it's a hot topic, I'd just like your opinion. ----Hard Light 4 Life-------------------

  • I do not believe it's overpowered, I believe the maps play greatly into it's effective range. The biggest problem with almost all shooters, is that ppl complain about respawn times and taking forever to run into battle. For this reason, maps are small, "action packed." This kills the meta, and creates tons of issues (spawning next to ppl). Because most maps play to close range combat, TLW will dominate on most maps. Truly balanced maps, like the Combined Arms Maps, are the least popular. Ppl call them "boring." These are the only maps with close-range areas, mid-range areas, long-range areas, and massive range areas. The only maps that encourage all weapons, rather than the close ranged beasts that currently own the meta. On top of this, the vertical combat is really broken in Destiny. the Look Sensitivity is incredibly low, even on high settings. looking up to aim can't be done at close range. this is why blink is so strong, and with bonus air accuracy (hand cannons) and bonus hipfire accuracy, TLW can deal high, fast, close range damage when jumping / blinking on these tiny maps. It's easy to kill from "across the map" on a small map.
