I think she was a researcher in the time the vex first started appearing and her and a team started exploring the time lines using vex tech and we're torn between time lines and saw the many futures where the vex conquer the future and couldn't return having lost her body so she put her mind in the body of a fallen exo so the could go back through the vex time shifts to a time in the conflict of time lines and events where the future is decided to help guardians defeat the vex. There's still a lot to be found on the vex yet though. She could have had something to do with clovis bray or the Ishtar collective and maybe even the Dr shim team that explored the vex systems with the help of rasputan
