I don't even use fire bolts in Pvp. Solar grenade is so much more satisfying for me.

Take away touch of flame perk & they'll cry about the extra fusion grenade that is instant death.

It's funny cause most sunsingers only challenge when they have a grenade. If the grenade doesn't hit me they always run off.

Because it burns for 14 seconds continuously and does over 120+ damage that's why. And firebolt has insane range but arcbolt sucks. Arcbolt needs a buff from 91 damage to around 102-115

Here is the #1 Fix to all problems with Grenades. You cannot argue it because it is 100% proven to fix all complaints with Grenades. Make every grenade a 1hk within their effective range. This would eradicate the "waaah it takes me out of the game for 14 secs" argument. Why? Because you'll be dead. Screw your 14 seconds, just hold X or Square and get your ass back in the game. It'll stop wombo combo. "Waah I can't move when the grenade burns me" Who cares about moving? You'll just die. Hold X or square and get to killin' If this is the case, then Warlocks will not need ToF + VF. Since everyone loves to say, "bwahh, there is no other reason for a Warlock to use the other perks in that skill tree" Boom, now they will use Radiant Will for a longer Radiance and Gift of the Sun for an extra grenade. Since Sunsingers super is based on its ability to toss Grenades like a damn sweatshop, they can a totally get kills instead of praying the person running away to just burn to death. There, Grenades fixed. Warlock OP Titans too, since Sunbreakers regen Grenades like a mofo if spec right. Tada

As a Hunter main, they're not. To even use Firebolt Grenades effectively (they're probably one of the worst Grenades in the game), you're giving up 2 great Sunsinger perks (increased Radiance time and an extra Grenade) for the sake of using a grenade that can only kill low-Armor builds. It just doesn't seem worth it in PvP. If I ever used a Sunsinger, I'd much rather use double Fusion Grenades - they're much more powerful than Firebolts if you don't give up the perks.

There is an easy fix to all of this. Change how recovery works. Instead of having recovery start after a period of time with no damage. Have shields recover a set amount per second based on recovery.

Gotta say you're absolute right, I play my Titan more than my warlock but never had I felt that fire bolt was op, both year one an now. It's these stupid kids who think they're gaming gods an know what's best for the community. Plus I bet you majority that are crying for the nerf are hunters that are (no pun intended) getting burned. But for god sake don't think of nerfing nightstalkers so called "wombo combo" since nightstalkers are weak. But hey it's jus my two cents on the issue, really don't care either since I'll get my xbox one soon an the division.

The only thing that bothers me is that ONE subclass can just "shadestep" away? Ok maybe if you do a complete shadestep one way you should be able to dodge it, but if you shadestep into a wall 3 inches away you should no dodge it...
