BladeDancer Needs a Buff.

Blade dance is really the only super in the game that you can only get 2-3 kills with before it runs out. 4 kills if you know how to use blade dance properly. Before it was a force to be reckoned with because of its team wiping potential. The super so much more quickly compared to year 1, hits take away more super energy then in year 1. Do I have to say ANYTHING about the hit detection? (View video above) I still know how to use blade dancer and get a good amount of kills with it but it is just stupid how under powered it is. Just please... Change the super... Make it better.. Leave the rest of the blade dancer skill tree alone. Message to fellow hunters, it is time to stop being harassed by titans and warlocks, spread this forum. Let's bring bladedancer back to how it was in year 1! Yes, I know how blade dance was in year 1. That was probably the pinnacle for blade dancers to shine. It was the most balanced in year 1 too. It could count any super as long as you know how to use it. It was still very fragile but very deadly.. Now you can't even kill a yellow bar level 15 Minotaur with it... Please buff the super. Spread this thread. Thank you hunters. <3

    • I originally voted buff bladedancer then I saw you want it back to where it was in year 1. You even say it can get you 2-3 kills and you think that's not good enough. Your a spoiled hunter if you think 2-3 kills a super is not plenty. That's a lot of kills.

      The only thing about it in need of a fix is hit detection, even though quick swiping fixes the problem in itself. Bladedancers get many more kills than other supers if you use it properly. Besides, they have many, many advantages as a subclass over other subclasses that make a huge difference. I think the only buff deserved would be for PvE.

      • You are using a video pulled from a single round of a Trials match against a single enemy as evidence that Arc Blade needs to be improved, yet you refuse to acknowledge its killing power in regular 6v6 Crucible modes where it's common to see the Arc Blade icon clutter up the kill feed. It does not need to be made any better than it already is - in fact, it should have its tracking turned down to make it a more skill-centric Super. Hammer of Sol, Golden Gun, and Nova Bomb all need to be aimed at least somewhat accurately - why should Arc Blade have built-in auto-aim that allows you to home in on targets just by mashing the melee button in their general direction? Enemies don't even need to be on-screen to be tracked by Arc Blade, you just push your left stick toward them and the Super takes care of the rest for you. Bladedancer is fine where it is, and this nonsense about hit-detection isn't what we see in the video - the Warlock was clearly out of range. Instead of Blinking from the platform to close the distance, this Youtuber decided he would spam his Super in hopes it would do all the work for him, but it didn't, and so he uses that as evidence that Arc Blade is the worst Super in the game. You know what happens if a Sunbreaker's hammer lands more than a foot away from an enemy? It's a miss. You know what happens if a Gunslinger's Golden Gun grazes a target? It's a miss. I could go on about how Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb are notorious for whiffing enemies, but I won't since I'm sure you understand. You should accept that Bladedancers aren't the unstoppable beasts they used to be - we're better off now in Year Two than we were in Year One where the only hope of stopping a Bladedancer from slaughtering your entire team was a well-placed Fist of Havoc. We do not need to go back in time to when Bladedancers dominated every single Crucible game mode, we are fine right where we are.

      • 2-3 kills and sometimes 4 is more than hammers usually get, more than fist of havoc usually gets, more than nova bomb, radiance, ward of dawn, shadow shot. The only super than really beats it kill wise is stormtrance. All the other supers don't have enough time to kill stuff like storm trance does

        Blade dancer sucks now. It's so dumb when you swing your blade in front of someone then it does that retarded animation that looks like you slipped on a banana peel then you get wrecked by basically anything -_- We also need a nova bomb buff and hammer buff those supers are very underwhelming as well

      • Buff it for pve. Try to kill red bar minotaur at lvl 6, it melees you, you die. Bladedancer shouldn't have difficulty killing red bars but it does. Yellow health bars you might as well quit

Hell, they nerfed Sunsingers so hard, they regen 2 grenades per super now and you -blam!-ing Hunters cry like mad over 2 piss poor little grenades flung your way. After that lets look up which class still has the highest k/d's. The only Arcblade issue is an issue every class currently has. Hit detection. So no, Bladedancers do not need buffed.

        • Alright then. You guys do say bladedance does need changed but really only the hit detection and add more lunge. Bladedance needs more armor and shouldn't take 3 hits to kill a self rez warlock just because they melee you as soon as they can. (Flameshield stupid OP) Yes yes... I know you salty titans... Your hammers got nerfed.. We get it.. It needs a buff... Bla bla bla... Ffs just use suncharge.. It brings hammer back to the OP state it was in. :P

          • Bump Make this exotic happen: Exotic Hunter Gautlets: Bladedancer Name: Master of Blades Exotic Perk: Swift Blade - Increased blink strike range; arc blade and blink strike have increased attack speed. Alternate idea (v2): Swift Blade - increased blink strike range and arc blade lunge. "His skill is his own weapon... but it doesn't hurt to have a sharp blade"

              • "It was the most balanced in year 1 too" lol, It was never balanced. The video just showed you can't get cheap air kills anymore. You have to aim and get close to the target. He was a mile away, he didn't deserve a kill.

Even hammers only get like 5 throws before it runs out if they don't use a certain perk, and those don't necessarily even kill anybody.

                  Not buffed, it just needs to be [b][i]fixed[/i][/b]. It's not a crappy super, it's just that the hit detection on the class is horrible.
