Blade dancers are without a doubt (besides strikers) the hardest super to counter. This post is non sense. Hunters in general are still the hardest class to kill, but I'm not shouting nerf this, or buff that. It's like trying to head shot a squirrel.

Though my experience is no testament to gauge the validity of your comment, I counter blade dancers everytime I see one. My shotty still works like a reforged Felwinters lol. It's not that hard you just need timing.
-
I'm never able to hack through that over shield by the time they get to me. I'm not an avid shotty user tho anyway... I'm an easy target for them I guess.
-
Bladedancers are easier to counter compared to a lot of other supers like hammer or stormcaller. If you were in a 1v1 situation with the weapons(no heavy) you wanted and no super, who would you rather go up agsinst(hammer, storm, or blade)?
-
A hammerbro, with a high armour build it will take them two hammers, minimum, assuming hit detection is doing it's job (good luck with that), chances are you can shotty&melee them before hit detection kills you, trading one secondary round for their super, someone want to figure the points for that? Either way, they waste their super.

Edited by 0Myre0: 3/2/2016 5:26:33 PMAny one of them, it only takes one suppressor grenade to destroy any of these supers and piss off the person who got excited to get kills with it.

Without a doubt stormcaller first (very slow moving), then hammers (wielder has to be somewhat acurate), and Blade dancers last. I can only recall maybe 1 or 2 times that I was able to counter a blade dancer. Keep in mind I'm not saying that is a bad thing, supers are suppose to be, well, super.

Stormcaller with ionic blink and transcendence is much harder to counter than bladedancer. Hammers with suncharge and all of its other abilities are much harder to counter than bladedancer. Bladedancer you have to get up close, you can't really do anything from a range (razors edge sucks most of the time as a result of character angle, not camera angle aim), you have short asz hell duration with super, and last but not least: broken hit detection. So even if you make it close, there is no gurantee you hit won't even connect.

Try doing a Nightfall and using your Arc Blade on a major Captain. Then run around and kill another one. Go on, try it.
-
Hammer's have the same problem, so does fist of panic. You wont kill a major with all seven hammers, forget about an ultra. Test it for yourself, I have. Supers aren't so super anymore sadly. All part of the year two ultra-nerf.
-
I was speaking strictly pvp as I believe that is what this post is about.
-
It's not JUST about PvP. Overall, Arc Blade is incredibly weak. Tell me, is Stormtrance balanced to you?
-
Stormtrance doesn't seem balanced in pvp, hey that's bungle and their meta's. In pve bladedancer was always useless after about level 15, same as fist of havok, once you got to that stage you had to become a gg'r or a bubble titan, you had no choice really, doesn't mean they had to trash the third man and symbiot though, but welcome to year two, you have already become legendary, now you can become shit. Strange question, has anyone else ever taken their toon back to where they started outside the cosmodrome wall, sat down, and logged out? Got to that stage after the hammernerf, it just seems like we aren't permitted to have fun anymore, like we really are playing an undead zombie that just isn't allowed to die? If so, then it really is an rpg I guess.

If you want blade dancer buffed in PVE thats great! But it is just fine the way it is for pvp. I don't use stormcaller in pvp mainly because the perk that supposedly regens health when melee and grenade are charged never works outside of pve. There for rendering landfall completely useless because one shotgun fire and your done.
