Are stereotypes inherently bad?

The purpose of this poll is to test the understanding the Flood has of stereotypes and their role.

Paul Bloom brings up some interesting points worth considering. He's not saying that they are "always good" or "always bad", but rather we should examine them when we resort to them and do our best to question whether or not the assumption is harmful, misguided or wrong.
