So if my target is in the air, my character does NOT automatically leap off the ground and therefore can't lunge during the melee. [b]I'm completely unable to punch the feet of my enemies with the Titan class.[/b] It's not a problem on the Hunters and OP Warlocks because they A) Have more base melee range anyway B) Blink before striking C) Have throwing knife.
I literally have 1 foot of melee range against aerial targets, and I can't do anything to stop their assault. Shotgunners can't be defeated by Titans who don't use bumper jumper. I had no problems with the other classes, other than throwing knife having it's own issues (too close for knife throw to activate, too far to connect stab).
Please allow me to lunge off the ground for normal melee range against aerial targets. I shouldn't be forced to use bumper jumper to compete with the other classes' aerial game.

Waaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Bungie help me do things other guys can already do! I want instant headshot one kills on my character to balance out the way other people can shoot at me! It's not fair!

I great way to counter that is to just sprint forward. Suddenly you are behind them, and it makes it a lot easier. (I main Titan btw). That doesn't mean I don't want it buffed, but I would rather have shoulder charge and suncharge buffed so that when an enemy is in the air and I hit their feet, they die just as if I hit their chest. I have whiffed so many times because of the bad hit detection/weird hit boxes

I really don't understand what the big panic is regarding Warlocks being op, the only things they have that are strong are burn grenades and melee range, which makes sense, sure they can max their armor but at the cost of moving at the speed of smell. Titans are strong in almost every aspect excluding melee range, they are outright the fastest class, and have the most armor in 90% of cases, they have a support class and very strong offensive classes. The Titan is honestly fine at this point, buffing them further makes it overkill, the only bad grenade the have is the spike grenade/pulse grenade. The strike melee can reduce super cooldown by a whopping 30%. It does not make sense to me in the slightest. The only thing Warlocks literally have on the other subclasses are crowd control capabilities, melee range, and burn grenades, everything else they're outclassed.
