Sunbreakers...

SOOOOOO, I'm one of the Titans that hasn't used his Sunbum Hammers in a minute since he tried them after the December "Buff to K.D of Defenders and Strikers" I've started using Sunbum again to truly figure out if I was just so mad about the nerf I had tainted judgement or what. In PvE its still great; especially try it with Suncharge. That actually negates the Explosive Pyre Nerf if you alternate. I've noticed, however, in PvP, you must be facing someone who's never fought a Bladedancer or Sunsinger or Stormcaller in order to kill the average player, that or you get lucky. Or, once again, use Suncharge, as it is at least a guaranteed kill on impact (the Bladedancers truly have no hope unless you completely miss or they are about to do the 2nd and 3rd hits, which are much faster). But throwing hammers? Why can someone survive a direct hit with the hammer? Then it hit me. The way in which Bungie's Dev Team nerfed the Splash Damage but NOT the Proximity Detonation makes it nearly impossible to kill a remotely fast moving target at 1 hit. Its that simple. There is NOT ENOUGH EXPLOSIVE RADIUS to kill a majority of the players you run into- as the hammer will detonate too far away from your target. So, equip that Suncharge, and Cauterize, and prove that there is still some hope for the Legendary Wielders of the Sun. But be careful, dont turn on Flameseeker. I swear, the Hammers track about 5 degrees to either the left or right. Out of 180. But what do y'all think about the remnants of the Hammer of Sol?
