Viking funeral only works on minions of the darkness (PvE). Your grenades will still burn people in pvp but not as long. And this way pve players won't have to deal with a nerf. Or, Viking funeral decreases DoT damage. But the thing is, it will still slow recovery so it would still be good for pve to keep shields from regenerating, just it would do a bit less damage. In Pvp it would do 3's like thorn, but it would still be good for preventing health recovery. What do you think they should do? Nerf or no nerf? EDIT: what exactly makes the fire bolt so strong? How long it takes to regain health, the amount of total damage, or both? EDIT: I main Titan idiots quit assuming, and I don't make fun of hunters either. EDIT: Read the post...

Edited by Ethyrean: 4/6/2016 8:14:17 PMThe thought of the differing PvE/PvP is relieving to PvE Sunsingers, but I think a lot of us would like to see (in addition to not being punished because of game modes we don't play) constructive /changes/ (not nerfs or buffs) that make Sunsinger fit the support role better. A lot of things in the lore (item descriptions, quests, etc) praise sunsingers for their "songs" while song of flame itself feels weak in both PvP and PvE. Maybe more buffs for teammates while radiance is active, or just more support opportunities in general? As of now, Stormcaller has nearly as many "fireteam-oriented" skill nodes as Sunsinger.

How come people hate warlocks they're awesome plus there aren't even that many warlocks out there
-
When people say nerf sunsingers do they mean just the fire bolt grenade and Viking funeral?
-
-
Bungie please mute these NERF HERDERS!!!!
-
I main Titan, and you're making us look horrible. Didn't even read post--Sunsinger needs no nerf.
-
Edited by Legend of Jordy: 2/23/2016 6:35:16 AMPvE only, alright but then Titans and Hunters need a PvE only ability. Blessing of Light Ward of Dawn now has decreased duration in PvE. Keen Scout for Nightstalker now only works in PvE. Wow, much fun. Very PvE. Great Destiny. Such Balance.
-
You don't
-
Okay when that happens then u nerf smoke/grenade combo that nightstalkers have in same way
-
No more nerfs
-
Your a disgrace to all three of your characters
-
No more Nerfs
-
If you can't snipe or shotgun a self res warlock you are honestly horrible and should definitely push towards getting them nerfed since it's your only hope of beating them. I (as a main hunter) think that they are balanced. I can res snipe and/or shadowshot them easily. Hardly a skill to have really, but like I said, the ones who suck and cry about it, are well the crucible slobs who never set foot into trials lol.

You are going to get so much hate by warlocks lol.
-
No NERF and go -Blam- yourself
-
There should be a quick time event to throw a fireblot or maybe a button combo.
-
Leave Warlocks alone people, Sunsingers have been essentially the same since DAY ONE. After they nerf Sunsingers, crucibabies will just find something else that "needs" nerfing.
-
While I personally don't care for a nerf to it like this I am glad to see at least one user open their mind about how to make PvE and PvP play differently. Unfortunately it's not the focus, but hopefully people pick up on that and it snowballs. I'll assume it won't though.
-
No thank you...
-
Want to see my nerf/buff list? Here it is.
-
Nah no more nerfs
-
Considering you don't use a warlock........ 100% no nerf on principle. Now let's see which character is your main and what we can target for a nerf that will hurt you the most..... Hmmmmm do you like striker? How about shoulder charge, you don't need that. Maybe it's shadestep or blink strike. Idk, we'll find something to nerf.
-
We've had tons of nerfs and the game is still in bad shape. Maybe nerfs just aren't the answer.

Edited by Taffyonline: 2/22/2016 12:09:04 PMHunters are the most overpowerd. Why nerf sunsingers?
-
You can't talk about a nerf on a warlock when you clearly don't even play as one.
