Is there a game that's like in between Destiny and Warframe?
I'm looking for a game for PS4 or PC that has quality, "smoothness" and gun play similar to Destiny, but has the size and content of Warframe. also being open world would be cool.

Look out for the division. Just cause you may have played the beta its not like you seen everything it had to offer. I'm not getting it personally because I'm done with hype trains. (Except fallout 4 I was hyped as shit.) Borderlands is a good mix. Get the handsome collection and play Borderlands 2 with all dlc. Great game. Better with friends though.

Really the genre is so incredibly small and no one really does it right. The next best option is probably borderlands series. Lots of RPG elements, open world, good shooter and lots of loot. Next would be division coming out soon. It focuses more on the RPG side of things, if you're looking for good shooting, this might not be for you. Finally FireFall, its more mmorpg style, basically wow with jump packs and guns. Fun but again not the best shooting action.

I would say borderlands, it has always felt like a smooth first person shooter in my opinion (though the pre sequel felt a little slower due to gravity stuff), and there is a ton of content (you can also play with friends). The only thing it doesnt have that destiny does is an actual PvP (you can duel people in borderlands but that is just a quick one on one arena fight that is meant settle disputes over loot or for random fun).
