I just wanted to let everybody know that the other night (October 9th), my younger sister, Melissa, was killed in a tragic car accident. I realize that none of you knew her, but I want to spread the word anyways, to ensure that she is remembered.

l'm really sorry to hear that. l know how you feel. My mother died when l was 8 years old. But just think about how much worse other people have got it. Look at 9/11. People lost their entire familes. Their mom, dad, brother, and their sister. You've still got your family and together you'll pull through your loss just like l did. lt'll be okay. Shes better off now. lt's not like you'll never see her again. All my prayers go to your family. [Edited on 8/17/2005]

I remember in the MAW they had sticked some thread dedicated to a Halo PC modder because he died also. He wasnt apart of the bungie community but it was sticked anyways...

Wow, DDRMaster... Wow. Thank you so much. That means a lot. Thanks (once again) to everyone for all your kindness and support. It just goes to show you the level of maturity and respect that is present on these forums. One last thing.. To everyone who does visit my site, please feel free to leave a comment. It is likely that this thread will not last for very much longer, as I doubt it will be stickied. The tribute on my website, however, will remain there for all to see. It would be very nice if everyone else could see just how caring the people here are.

We were typical brother and sister. As a mattar of fact, we probably fought more than we got along. But, that doesn't change the fact that she deserves to be respected and remembered.

I fought with my little sister all the time, I even did some really mean things to her sometimes. However, even when I thought I couldn't stand to be around her, if someone messed with her they could expect a visit from my big ass. You've done right by your sister to make sure that people remember her. I have tremendous respect for you BBBear.

xbl user, if you really want to put the link in your sig, that would be the nicest thing anyone has done. All you have to do is copy and paste this: [b][url=http://spaces.msn.com/members/miketrites/]TEXT[/url*][/b ], replace "TEXT" with whatever you would like to use to refer to the link, and delete the * at the end (it was only placed there so the text doesn't actually display as a link).
