Weekly Update Disappointing

So let me get this straight. Bungie had probably one of the worst PR weeks since the launch of Destiny. This past week consisted of: -CEO "stepping down" -Kotaku and other sources reporting Destiny 2 is delayed til 2017 -Disgruntled employee posting about how little money and people they have for DLC or even Destiny 2 on Reddit (unconfirmed) -Numerous popular Youtubers have released videos on the "Destiny Malaise", how to fix the game, and have moved on to other games -The Division beta has begun and parts of the community are drifting towards that game -Xur and Nightfall being broken -Bungie employees and updates that straight lied to our faces about SBMM -Promises of being better about transparency and listening to the community I mean seriously. All of that happened in the span of the last week give or take a few days, and we had to wait an extra day for the weekly update to read this garbage? I mean, it looks like an update that was typed up over a lunch break. Not only were all of the bullet points above completely ignored, but so was the promise from last week regarding details about the February update. The only thing we got was the introduction to a week long PVP event (Crimson Doubles). It does sound a little different than normal crucible, but with there should be some good loot. Not 320 ghosts and shaders. Give us weapons, class items, or something good. On top of the less desirable loot, but you only have it going on for a week? Is this going to just become the PVP version of the Queen's Wrath event? Every week, I look forward to reading the Weekly Update, and every time, I read it hoping this might be the update where I can finally get hyped about something. Something I can tell my friends who have abandoned this game to get them to come back. But more and more, I feel like Bungie has abandoned us. The only reason I play Destiny anymore is to hop into Trials of Osiris with my few remaining friends in this game. But even that has grown stale. Seriously, how many times is RNG going to give me a slap across the face, I mean a 311 Water Star? However, a few of us are getting codes for The Division and are going to play the beta. I am no fan of 3rd person shooters, but at this point I will give anything a chance (besides COD).
