Oh Dear. Iron Banner...

I made a post saying I'd never play iron banner again. I saw the fusion rifle and scout rifle for sale... Well, I think it was enough to get me to play. But... Nowhere near as long as last time. I'm going in, getting bounties, and getting the -blam!- out of there. Iron Banner Rift is a hot mess, anyone who denies that is: A) Luckily "never" laggy B) Isn't a solo player or C) Isn't very competitive
Sigh. I decided to give Iron Banner a try. I like the looks of the scout and fusion rifle on sale, but man... Iron Banner feels hard to play. I'm usually soloing my way through, and fighting against teams of 4 or more usually puts me at a massive disadvantage. Team mates grab the spark and refuse to take it slow; rather, they want to rush the enemy spawn and die ASAP. Mida and Last word are still around, but this time we have the Suros PDX's and Red Death pitching in, too. No autos to be found, except the occasional Doctrine of Passing or Hakon's Hatchet. No scouts, except Mida. The lag is still here, but hopefully tomorrow, when they "change" the SBMM to CBMM and try to test things out, it'll be better. I really hope. The first day of Iron Banner Rift... Is a sad experience. Lack of fun maps, incompetent team mates, lag (hopefully changing soon), skilled enemies that crush any solo players, and the repetition of guns, with the occasional change. Sigh...
Bungie, you've seen a post get massive feedback, even commented on it, you know people don't want rift. Now, I know it's only been a day, but Iron Banner is bad. Horribly bad. Lag shouldn't be a much of a problem tomorrow, since you're going to "change" things for data, but it was still bad today. Here are the problems that are reoccurring that have been happening since last Iron Banner: •Heavy Ammo. If the enemy gets both heavy Ammos, it's literally game over. They now have a team full of heavily armed escorts for their carrier, who is also heavily armed. (The only time it isn't over is if you kill an enemy as he or she is picking up the crate.) •Specials... As primaries? Here's a solution for specials: Make the boxes spawn randomly on the map, and not have markers above them. Same with heavies. Make the team's actually search for the ammo. •Joining sessions in progress... Oh dear. Joining into a game where the enemy has 3-4 times your score is an instant quit out for many people, including me. I'd rather not be killed by heavies continuously, get scored on multiple times, and be spawn killed by supers over and over again. Also, looking at the scoreboard to see a whooping 2 other team mates that both have 0 score just makes me facepalm. Yeah, drag some other people into a game that's already been decided. Sorry, but I'm not sorry. I'm out. •Maps. Add. More. To. The. Rotation. I'm so sick of Cathedral of Dusk and Memento. Honestly, a 6v6 on these maps feels too clustered. If anything, these are 4v4 game modes, maybe 5v5 at the max. •People continue to red bar, take no damage, melees are "stolen" (don't register damage but take the charge), people are teleporting, shooting through doors, etc. •Excessive use of the same weapons. (I.E. Mida, Last Word, Qullum's Terminus, Conspiracy Theory-D, and 1KYS.) This wouldn't be an issue if there were actually other guns worth using. •Horrible team mates. I mean, god awful. They want to get the spark, rush in, and die. They refuse to even fire their weapons. •Solo players are being matched against teams that are actually skilled. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem, if the team mates given to the solo players were actually competent. LFG... That's not a solution to finding a team. I want an in game solution to finding a team. I have friends who rarely play destiny anymore, but begging people to play with me and them getting pissed off doesn't seem worth it to me. (I've tried LFG. Here's what happens: I'll find someone from a different country, lag ensues. I'll find a squeaker-just no. I'll find a kid who thinks he's badass at everything, when in reality, he's below average. I'll find someone who constantly goes AFK. I'll find someone who has to get off in a very short amount of time. This is not a fun way to find a team, DeeJ.) So... How's everyone else's opinion about Iron Banner Rift? If you have bad or good experiences, anything you want to add, etc... Add them below. I'm willing to hear any other opinions, as long as they aren't hostile or angry. If I see any of that trolling bullshit, I'll just add you to my long list of muted retards.

 • I hate rift. I played for a couple hours or less today, solo. I lost 7 or 8 games, in a row. A couple of those were with people whom had no idea what to do. It seems no one wants to get the spark or even understands the concept. Rift sucks, leave it as control or mayhem. I'm only getting 1 character to rank 5 and I'm done.
