How does Warframe compare to Destiny?
Is there more content? more customization? are there DLC like updates? is it open world?
basically is it a good alternative to destiny? I'm starting to wear thin with no new weapons and content.

Technically, there is more content. But you quickly realize that most of it is useless or irrelevant. Warframe is better than Destiny because it is free; otherwise, they are fairly equal in my eyes. [i]Source: 650 hours played[/i]

Take some time to learn the mechanics and different aspects of the game, as it can be [i]extremely[/i] easy to get lost. Is there more content? Yes. more customization? Yes, much more, both visually and mechanically. are there DLC like updates? Yes, and they are free. is it open world? Nope, but all of the maps/missions are procedurally generated, so a mission is different every time you play it. basically is it a good alternative to destiny? Yeah, I'd say so myself.

I tried it for a while in late 2014. It wasn't really my cup on tea. I've gone back to WoW again, now that Destiny is going through a content famine.

It doesnt. All the updates and dlcs and extras could never make up for that crappy grind of a game. Graphics are horrible on the one also.

In every way except gameplay. More content more updates more conversation with the developers but the combat feels very broad and lazy to me. Zero sense of collision, but other than that(which is probably my personal preference) it is better. I Definitely prefer playing Destiny though. Better more solid gameplay in my opinion. Like both games though.

Imo they're both good games if you have time to play them both and see what they have to offer. Although it would be nice if the creators of both games could loosen up on the grind that players have to go threw to get the things they want.

It's a better alternative to Destiny honestly. There's much more customization, weapons, classes, 4 abilities on each class, companions to aid in battle, great movement mechanics, and several more planetary areas to play in

5 RepliesThe division is coming just hold on. I find warframe incredibly boring and the screens are all jumbled with ads to buy in game stuff. I find it to be very lack luster and after a few days of playing I quit.

1 ReplyComparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges. One game is an otaku circle jerk full of grinding wrapped in a free to play model. The other, is a misconceived mess that looks pretty, but offers no true substance. Owned by a bunch of money hungry ass wipes who'll take your bottom dollar. The only things that are the same between the two is the sci-fi future setting and the grinding. Go try warframe. Maybe you like it's unpolished gameplay and clunky movement system. [i][b]Its Free!*[/b][/i] [i] [/i] [i]Game is riddled with incredibly expensive in-game microtransactions for loot that can be earned in-game through days worth of playtime.[/i]
