PVP Sniping

At this point in Destiny, I literally get on to play one game mode and that is Trials of Osiris. I am a beta and day one player and I have done everything in PVE, but with lack of content, my friends and I are reduced to small sessions of trying to get to Lighthouse over the weekend. But my biggest gripe about Trials is the sniping. The Taken King has turned sniping into child's play. The 1000 Yard Stare has literally taken over crucible and dominates Trials. But I feel like The Taken King has some things broken with sniping that I feel needs to be addressed. First, the sniper's "glint". My friend and I have all complained multiple times about the sniper's glint (the bright light that shows the other team you are hard scoping). The problem, however, is that the glint does not always proc. Sometimes, it will just look like the other guy is standing still or AFK, but then you get shot in the face as you take your time to line up a shot. Yes, this is not that big of an issue, but I feel like something must have been broken when switching to Year 2 crucible because I never remember getting sniped by someone when I do not see them hard scoping me. Second, and the most rage inducing aspect of sniping is the lack of flinch. Near the end of Year 1, you were able to re-roll weapons to try to get the perks, scopes, or damage type you wanted. I remember one of the better things to get for snipers was "Unflinching". The reason for this was because it was near impossible to snipe someone who was shooting at you. It did not matter what gun they were using, but the Red Death and Mida Multi Tool always made you flinch uncontrollably. However, in Year 2 it appears that the flinching aspect of sniping is completely irrelevant. Time and time again I get sniped in the middle of me killing the guy scoped in on me. No it is not like I stand still and pop shot on the guy either, I am literally strafing and hitting him in the face with Mida shots (one of the most flinch inducing guns from Y1) and I have him done to one more shot death and what happens? He snipes me in the face. I used to use the Nirwen's Mercy because I liked its perks, but I always found I was getting shot in the face as I was shooting at the guy. It was infuriating. So I switched to the Mida in the hopes that the quicker speed and better flinching bullets will change my issue.....it didn't. So now I ask/beg Bunige. Please fix the sniping in this game. I am sure you have heard complaints coming in about sniping in this game. I have heard from Jon Weisnewski address complaints about sniping on Crucible Radio, but I still feel these issues I have experienced and I am sure others have as well need to be addressed. Simply making snipers flinch just a little bit will change the aspect of the crucible and Trials. The entire idea behind the nerfing of fusion rifles and shotguns and making Special ammo crates more limited was to promote primary gun play. However, sniping has instead taken over and it is because it has now become the easiest way to kill guardians. If snipers were to flinch or may even become un-scoped when being shot at like in Halo 2 and 3, then i think that sniping will become harder, but more rewarding and people will need to rely more on strategy of primary guns and their class abilities than to simply scope a hallway. Please address sniping in the next update! TL;DR - Snipers no longer flinch like they used when getting shot at and sometimes the glint doesn't proc. If Bungie were to address these issues, it would change the entire crucible landscape. Primary weapons, class abilities, and strategy will be better promoted. Instead of the normal strategy of most crucible matches and nearly all of Trial matches of simply camping and scoping a hallway.
