Help Please Ammo Capacity Problem / Question Please Read & Help

When the Taken king first came out. I had a auto rifle that had a total of 72 or 77 (I cant remember now its been forever) rounds in the clip. It was a lower level gun compared to the 310/320 guns I have now and was more of a spray and pray weapon. However I can not remember how I got the additional "BOOST or "EXTRA CAPACITY" on the Auto Rifle. I don't know if its a chest piece or boots or gauntlets that did it or what it was. I have a decent gun now, its at 312 has good impact and range but the clip only holds 27 bullets, Can someone please tell me how I can get the ammo capacity boost / increased /mod like I did back in the day. BTW I am a warlock at 317 now. I don't know if that makes any difference in the info.

  • There are some perks on weapons that can increase magazine size, such as Extended Magazine. Also keep in mind that some statistics work opposite one another - as one goes up another goes down in general. For instance, typically a higher impact weapon will have a smaller magazine size - each bullet hits harder, but there are less bullets per magazine.

    • Hello, What happened is you had a specific type of auto rifle, that most players call a "bullet hose". These auto rifles have a very fast rate of fire, large designated magazines, and very large ammo reserves, as they shoot so fast. However, regular auto rifles will not have those specifics, such as larger magazines and reserves, as they do not have that high rate of fire. TL;DR: it had nothing to do with perks, it was just the weapon itself, which is a different type than your current weapons.
