Why is Warframe so much better?
You have to admit that in terms of gameplay, variety, mobility, and intensity warframe is far and away a better game. I know its story is borderline non existent and the missions get repetitive but ask yourself this "can i do anything like this in destiny, like this exactly?" I think you'll find a big no. Destiny does have its own moments and features but considering warframe is free to play and it has that much content right off the bat...you cant say destiny had the best kick off can you.

I gave up Warframe for Destiny. Imo, Destiny is much more interesting and Warframe's raids are borderline trash.

Both are great in their own way, but you are comparing apples to oranges here. I personally like both and put the same amount of hours in them. Warframe has more regarding content but requires a bit more work to get to most of it (which is why people call it a grind fest or a P2W). Destiny has better gunplay and combat but it starts to fall short due to limitations of weapons and it's modibility. As much as I like destiny I kinda have to side with warframe since they get more content and patch updates. Between every dlc Destiny released warframe brought out an estimate of 2-3 updates in that time. So yea, both are good but two different beasts. So don't treat them as the same thing due to some similarities.

I do enjoy war frame. However, the pay-to-win drove me away after a while. After months of grinding I managed to build a full set of Rhino and Nova Prime. Just lost interest at that point.

5 Repliesway better engine that actually was build to be expanded.. since the time i played first they introduced: - companion "kubrow" including DNA sharing, trading, several versions with different abilities fur colours, sizes.. - a ship you can walk in - a second level in your ship - a tower - a tower expansion thats HUGE - factions - about 380 weapons - a complete new fighting style: melee as a primary source of fighting - about 500 Mods, all combinable - 12 additional warframes with unique abilities and supers - a free flight in space dogfight mode - a free flight in space while flying through a gigantic space station - a defend your own space station mode (PvP!) - a use your flight suit to dive underwater - about 10 "raid" like events where you have to play with other players to achieve the objectve.. - overhaul of the PvP system with complete new weapons that are similar to the PvE ones but have PvP perks only.. - 10 new activities - your own clan hall (dojo) - your clan financed research facility inside your dojo -fancy decorations in game for your clan house.. - ship decoration - Chirstmas overhaul of the ship and the warframes - "Movember" special with mustaces for all your warframes - Halloween special. etc etc etc.. what it already had on launch: a matchmaking system for EVERYTHING which works fine. even in those raid like activities..

It's not. It's pretty impenetrable to new players, matchmaking sucks and the grind is 10x worse than Destiny. The prices are also pretty ridiculous. Just my opinion.

3 RepliesGameplay is not better. Game has frame rate issues in its end game content. Everything has to be made through a foundry and no real sense of progression is ever felt until quite deep into the game. I like war frame and I've got a plethora of friends who play it, but I don't see how it's better than destiny. Whatever sort of grinding you can complain about in destiny, warframe players do by choice and for longer amounts of time. Literally did the same node 10x and I'm like guys. What are we doing? I appreciate the xp but I'm bored. Farming. Ey, yo life. Back to pvp for me. #LoveYouB

14 RepliesTo be honest the games cool, but it's unfriendly to new users . I played it a while back. There is nothing that really hooked me. It's do this mission threw 300 waves to get this ok item. Now do this one 300 times. The grind is ridiculous compared to destiny. You want to build a certain way? Well better hope you get the drops, if they desire to drop. Or you can just buy it right? I don't have the time or funds to do the amount of grinding that needs to be done.

Imo you can't compare them. People here complain about the story and the grind. There is almost literally NO story in Warframe unless you spend hours and hours reading the lore. Also the grind in Warframe.... Is insane. If you want a new Warframe? Yeah you have to wait 3 days for it to build and you have to do the same 20 minute mission about 200 times lol....

I can agree with most the things you listed, it is more intense and does have more verity but I would still say destiny has the better gameplay of the two.

1 ReplyPeople that say it's pay to win need to learn to vend/flip, 1) run some missions with friends to rank up 2) choose one of the factions as soon as you can 3) Get the faction mods and weapons and sell them for platinum 4) It's a grindfest but it's far from pay to win, it took me about 1 month to get all the items I want and will ever need, I went from about 50plat to 10000 plat by flipping items for about 1-2 hours a day for 3 weeks. Also people confuse textures with graphics, learn the difference before you complain. Textures are the overall look of the game. Graphics are fps and pixels. Warframe has a higher framerate than destiny (60fps opposing to 30fps) Don't complain if you haven't properly played it. I will agree that the missions are quite boring if you don't have friends to play it with but that's the same way for destiny.
