Well, since PSN is down right now, I reckoned us Guardians could get together and tell a 'war story' or two about our iron banner engagements........ Any fun, memorable matches you've experienced? I'll start. We were headed to Phobos for our next performance before the Iron Lords. The Black Shield Base. I'm not much for the scenery around the Mars area, but I'll say that the Cabal are pretty impressive architects. We started our engagement at the C post. 3 of my team stayed and 3 of us went to B including myself. The rest of my team joined us and I found it strange that no one from the other team engaged us. We took B effortlessly. So as the team proceeded to A, that's when I noticed it. The radar showed C being taken. This Titan on my team also noticed. (Side note: I'm a warlock and I've been toying with my build on Sunsinger lately) So as the rest of our team went to take A, me and my titan friend went back to C. (I don't know this guy from Adam, by the way) As we neared the post, we jumped over a pillar of the base, and while airborn, both activated our supers at the same time......IT WAS GLORIOUS! ......He was running Hammer Of Sol, and as we were still airborne, we rain down flaming hammers and fireballs! Scorching fury, as if God himself was shouting 'HELLLLLL NOOOOOOO!' Together we wiped em all and reclaimed our post! I never did get that Titan's name, as the match went ridiculously quick, and Lord Shaxx had to lay down the mercy rule on the other team. Wherever he is though, he has a friend in this warlock. And also hands down, this was my finest moment and match during the Banner. :)
