Sony is looking really desperate now.
I can't believe that they are STILL rolling out cash for more PS exclusives. Do they honestly think that a single set of armor will convince me or anyone else to buy an entire console just so they can have it? First it's exotics, then strikes, then crucible maps, then a rare set of armor, then a legendary set of armor, and now this. All you have managed to accomplish with these exclusives, Sony, is piss me and a lot of xbox players off and turn us completely off from buying your products.
F*ck exclusives and f*ck anyone who switched consoles just because of them. Full title exclusives are one thing, but restricting content for half of a community who plays the same exact game is bullsh*t and everyone knows it.
EDIT: This has nothing to do with the "console war" that everyone seems to be so obsessed over. I never cared about that stupid rivalry, and frankly there never needed to be one. I bought an xbox because I had a 360 before and really liked it, my friends got a xbox one, and I wanted to keep my account anyway. I never enjoyed the apparent "CoD exclusives" that xbox had (probably because I've hardly ever played CoD), and even if xbox did start it, did they continue hording exclusives for over a year like sony has done with this game? The original exclusives made sense because Destiny was a huge factor in which console to buy for many people, but at this point they are doing it just to rub it in xbox players' faces. I'm mad because I feel like I'm being denied access to content because I "took sides", when in reality I just wanted to play a game I was really excited for.

I don't care if Sony is desperate, i just want great games and online service which i think Xbox is much better. I was on PS4 but then i felt like Sony wasn't doing anything new to their custumers, no more AAA games, tons of problems communicating with my friends (mostly nat problems), online store always broken and their monthly free games were awfull and still its selling more consoles. That's why me and 3 other friends moved from PS4 to Xbox One, no more NAT problems, great online services and yeah maybe not the same performance as the PS4, but we are really happy and satisfied with Xbox One games and services. Sony can suck my balls, i don't care if it sells more.

You said it yourself, it was a deciding factor for some people to choose which console to buy. Why should they stop doing exclusive content now a game is out? Personally, I'm against exclusive content altogether, but it's ridiculous to think they should stop because the game is out now.

PS4 is lead platform for third party games. Get used to it. You say this isn't about console wars, but the paragraph before that you literally said "F*ck the people who switched consoles, because of exclusives." Microsoft bought Minecraft. Microsoft payed for Rise of the Tomb Raider exclusivity. Xbox One is doing well, but PS4 is selling like crazy. Neither console has a must have exclusive right now, so both companies are relying on these marketing deals to get ahead. Sony is being aggressive while they have a lead and it is an indisputable fact that games run better and look better on PS4, even if only slightly. [spoiler]I own a PS4 and choose to play games on Xbox One with my friends. I love my PS4 and my Vita. Grow up[/spoiler]

I'm suprised developers (the ones who aren't getting paid by off Microsoft) are still even developing for the XB1, i mean yea.. they do make a bit of money off XB but its still like 1/5 of what they make selling it on the PS4. I mean really.. why would you bother? My guess is the Sony/Destiny deal was just luck, it wasn't originaly ment to be that big but Bungies gone HOLY -blam!- alot of people are play it on PS4 and Sonys gone holy -blam!- were selling alot of consoles because of it and the momentum now's just gone too far, neither want to get rid of it. Meanwhile Microsoft (while they could buy into it) is looking at there player base, looking at how many play Destiny and just thinking its not worth it

I don't agree that this is a big deal to begin with, but why are you holding it against Sony rather than Bungie/Activision? Sort of like getting mad at the other guy when your girlfriend is the one happily having sex with him, but also not like that at all.

This is what is called market share leverage Sony is by far the larger population in console gaming, so they get more exclusives Sony doesn't pay for exclusives, many developers GRANT exclusive content to ps4, and some smaller ones have to if they want to play on the larger console, and honestly, why wouldn't you want to appeal to the larger customer base as a developer? They hit 30.5 million units sold worldwide after black friday Xbox? Like 14 million units Man, Sony must really be desperate for sales lmfao Just saying
