Weekly What's Update
Ooof! So we gave out the Autoupdate, and we tried to be as clear as possible, but of course misconceptions persist and folks are angry about all sorts of stuff, some legitimate, some mental. Today, we're addressing most of them.

Dear Frankie, My buddies and I have been reliving the glory days of Halo; and because of that I have some questions: 1. How come the plasma weapons in Halo 2 don’t slow you down anymore? 2. Why is it that in Halo your humping capabilities are so much more superior then in Halo2? But on another note, I'd like to thank you guys for having to hold "x" to pick up the skull in odd ball. Thank you for your time.

Hi Frankie I was just wondering if anyone at Bungie had realised that they could be making a lot of money out of Halo 2 by introducing playlists like pro, MLG, swat etc on a subscription basis. i.e. charging players a monthly subscription fee for the privilege? If the playlists were right and competitions, specilist forums and other benefits were given to subscribers I think a lot of people would be interested in it, and bungie could make a lot of money, and then you could employ people to make more maps etc. Just a thought

i dont really know how to ask a question for the weekly whats update so im just going to post my question here and hope frankie reads page 11 or 12... ...so i was just online playing CTF big team battle, i fought my way by myself through the enemy base, grabbed the flag, escaped by the skin of my teeth and made it home to safety only to be fragged and sniped by my own "team mate" who proceeded to carry the flag two more feet and score... i was so mad that i could not continue playing the game any more. is there any way this can be stopped? Like have a ten second rule after killing a team mate then scoring or something? thanks...

Hi Frankie, In a Weekly What's Update you told us to look for " Hi, Ben" could you give us some more information, maybe a level, Campaign, Multiplayer, The list goes on but it'd be so swick if i found dat!

Ok this may sound very weird but i was wondering... i figured out that there was a zipper on master chief and not on the elites, i figured this out a long time ago, and i was just wondering y does the master chief only have a zipper...lol... just a little question to challenge frankie lmao while rofl.

Hello Frankie, I'm glad that the update came out it's nice to be able to play the new maps and not worry about cheaters, thank you. but on a more sirious note I had two level 40's on my fiends list both are legit but both complain of being booted the moment they get into a game for cheating. I also checked thier games online they never play the new maps. (im guessing they use the noise your xbox makes while loading up the new maps) Well, anyway I'd like you to remind people that tere are gamers that are just freakishly good. by the way one of my level 40 friends has resorted to deleveling to escape his constantly getting booted he's now a 32

Bungie, I think that you should make a Xbox live download that puts some deleted vehicles or wepons to play with. Let us have a fuel rod gun in multiplayer or let us drive the ATV, the Shadow, the Doozy. Let us be shielded flood in multiplayer. Anything Bungie!!!!!!!!!!! PS If anyone knows how to get a demo of the game before halo featured in the making of Halo 2 disk please respond.

I just checked my stats, and after the autoupdate, my Team Slayer rank has suddenly decided to go from 17 to 2. Obviously, this pissed me off a little bit. I'm feeling way too lazy right now to search through the whole thread, so has anyone else experienced this? ::edit:: Nevermind. It seems to have popped back up again. Weird. [Edited on 7/24/2005]

On www.gamestop.com I saw a space for Halo 3. I also talked to a gamestop employee and he said that it would come out for Xbox 360. I visited a website where the relatives of Bungie could post H3 info. I have herd that it has a map editor, movie editor, and 50+ players in Xbox Live.

When I make french toast for breakfast, I make 2 pieces for myself. The 2 pieces only use about 1 and 1/2 eggs. To make a long story short, I feel guilty for throwing away the extra yolk thats left. I need some help here. What do you suggest I do?

Random question, or more of a suggestion. I do not plan on reading the reply here because all of this site foo-foo's are lagging my computer: Why don't you have Xbox Live check your hard drive every time you login? Or at random logins. That would be more effective in getting modders, and it keeps them from using more 2 month free trials. Or just ban their xbox. That works too.

Hey what's good Frankie? I have a lil' sumthin on my mind I've been meaning to address for a while...To me and many other people, Halo 2 isn't really what I expected it to be. I'm more of a fan of Halo 1. To me Halo 1 took a greater amount of Hand-Eye coordination skill...Now, I've been hearing alot of gossip, and rumors about a Halo 1.5, or Halo 2.5. Is it Halo 1 physics P.I.M.Ped out with Halo 2 GFX? What's the deal Frankie? -If ya get this, please respond. PS- You probably had to respond to this already...I apologize...

Some people just want to be idiots. i do tem kill/suicide sometimes but mostly it is because idiots on my team are teabagging/cursin/racism/11 years old/ just bein idiots so i think bungie should not consider teamkilling/suicide cheating cause it doesnt break the x-box live contract
