Weekly What's Update
Ooof! So we gave out the Autoupdate, and we tried to be as clear as possible, but of course misconceptions persist and folks are angry about all sorts of stuff, some legitimate, some mental. Today, we're addressing most of them.

Not to mention make himself slide around the map like he was on iceskates."....by maddog ..... maddog I hate to say this but you were modded.....the autoupdate works....to a certain extent, im leaving to go home mid-night of friday and i haven't been able to get on XBL live here cuz i didn't bring my Xbox(stupidist move EVER!!) but when I do get on(my Xbox) i will check out matchmaking and take a survey on average of how often i get modded now compared to before and i can bet you that it will be a whole lot less. but back to my original thesis statement. SJ by modding sucks, that in my mind would be the only reason that SJ would be considered cheating. modders are decreasing in number but they will always be around so plz get use to them, if you can wait until Xbox 360, that is when live will be really fun and (hopefully)secure from modders, cheaters, and last but not least stand-byers. think about it......(dreaming) 30 vs 30 match!! or BETTER yet 60 man rumble pit!!!... plz, if any modders are reading this very post, i humbly ask that you plz start on a new path, a path that is covered by challages and toil but at the end of the path is har earned victory and the fealing that you know that you are the best without needed the help from a computer chip and downloaded content to beat people, so plz i ask not as an enemy but as a paying cunsumer in a product to another paying cunsumer. plz stop cheating yourself out of your moneys worth it's not economic for anyone. thank you for reading my post and if you consider my plea then i thank you even more. ok i de rank with a full party on team slayer. so that the other team gets an automatic win and we get the lose so we go down ranks. just wondering though is it bannable. because were not boosting and were not screwing other people over. i just de rank with 3 friends and the people on the other team for some reason get mad and say they are going to report us to bungie for giving them a free win.

blave are you kidding (no offense)!! Bungie will never come out with anything for the psp. There are so many loyal Bungie (halo) fans that they would go out and buy a psp JUST for the Bungie game. That would boost Sony sales which is the last thing Microsoft wants since they are in the big next-gen clash for domination. They did create ONI for the PS2 but that was definately BEFORE Redmond if you know what i mean.

Oh yeah. Since i live in Vietnam, could your "next" project give a map to the humid swampy jungles of here instead of the obviously important places like New Mombassa and African windmills with names at the end of the alphabet? You know like have a covenant dropship crash here then all the vietnamese locals take them all out. Im not crzy, that would be cool. Imagine an Elite in a Tiger Pit.

bungies pathetic attempts to eradicate cheating are pointless, sure they may have stopped the modders but hackers will soon find a way around the update. Instead of using ppf files they may use gif files, or the encryptions of the maps may be configured to fool the bungie server. Anyways, although modders were a pain, i think that everyone should stop whining about them and bask in the cheater-free time that we have now on live. this will be my one and only post because it is worthless and nobody is going to listen to your measely voices in the crowd. Bungie does not care. All they care about is halo 3, xbox360, and the movie. Halo 2 is far outdated and there is too many problems with the live system. I bet half of you guys are like a level 12 or something and your complaning about stupid things like modders and stand-by...oh no bungie is going to ban my 2 month trial. Talk to me when your a 34 in slayer on two names and theyve been banned in the whole midst of the banhammer. Bungie doesnt know what theyre doing they are simply banning every somewhat high ranked name. Get over it and enjoy halo 2 and xbox live while you can....and also do something productive with your lives.... I will own you

Super Bounces Aren't Considered Cheating, Since They Are Built Into The Maps And Everyone Can Access Them.

Modders Aren't Totally Gone, But They're Gonna Get Banned Sooner Or Later. I've Heard That Most Modders Use 2 Month Cards So When They Get Banned They Can Just Create A New Account. Is There A Way To Ban A Xbox From Live Even If The Owner Puts A New Hard Disk In? Legit Is The Best Way 2B. 26 In Team Slayer. Booya!

yeah sj is not cheating in my opion some others it is but to me it makes more of a challenge for some reason and you shouldnt leave feedback because if they knew how to do it they would do it to

yes plz everyone superjumping is not cheating!!! I think of it as a higher ground. although I do have problems doing them myself, so if i play TeamSlayer I play with atleast 2 players that can do it well. besides if you are having problems killing the guy that is sticking his head out on top of a building then i don't think you should be playing! im trying not to be rude but it really annouys me when people say, and i quote "Im going to leave so much cheating feedback on you cuz superjumping is cheating". well i don't love SuperJumpers(SJ for short) but SJ is key in a lot of people tactics or strates so if you feel the SJ is cheating, good, plz that is your opinion and you can go about matches not SJ, there are plenty of advantages on being on the ground, and think of it this way. there are only so many places that have "useful" SJ so learn where peole land during the SJ and make sure you get the sniper. alright every body superbounceing is not cheating it may be cheap but every one can do it and if u cant kill the guy who did it u suck and just think theyll have to come down for ammo so kill them then or dont let them get the good wepons. and bungie already said it wasnt cheating so therefor its not bannable if u do it so stop complaining its just a game!

First I'll say bungie did a great job fixing the modding. Alot of people are now banned. Also i got banned only for a day and i assume it was because i was playing with my modder friend alot. Now i know better. But there are some modders who play custom games and ruin everyone's fun or have found out a way around the update and still play matchmaking. It sucks! Halo 2.5 or 3 or whatever will come out when bungie makes it. I know everyone wants to play it, but be patient. Remember, stupidity isn't a virus but it spreads like melted butter.

What I'd like to know is if you have a modified XBox but dont have XBox Live is it still bad? Also is finding Glitches a bad thing if you dont use them during games?

Is Super Jumping legit or are you supposed to get booted for that too? I think it should be banned, because most of the spots super jumpers use i can get to with a normal jump and a little help, and i just don't think its fair that they can grab all the good weapons and super jump, then you have no chance of killing them. please answer my question
