Weekly What's Update
Ooof! So we gave out the Autoupdate, and we tried to be as clear as possible, but of course misconceptions persist and folks are angry about all sorts of stuff, some legitimate, some mental. Today, we're addressing most of them.

I have a few questions about maps not loading, the menu freezing, and such. Seeing as how I found a rather nasty scratch on my disk, I would like to know a few more things about these errors. First, If the scratch existed on my disk before the AU and my problems with playing Halo 2 are caused because the cashe was deleted and the game now needs to read from the disk, does this mean that my game wouldn't have worked before the AU if I deleted my cashe? Second, assuming the same problem, does that mean that if I play Halo 2 using my friend's unscratched disk for a little while, playing all of the maps and such, it would restore my cashe and I could use my damaged disk again (instead of having to buy a brand new copy of Halo 2)?

Frankie why do you answer stupid questions like where does baby oil come from and why the coconuts dont go up the lift. You should spend your time answering questions that have some importance. I liked it better when you were on vaction and then more questions got answered. And please dont answer this question in the next Weekly Whats Update just stop answering stupid ones!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to know what are you guys doing about all the people using the N word i cant play a game without someone calling someone else a -blam!-. Or ever word out of these kids mouth is -blam!-. Now im 28 but my 9 year old son plays sometimes and i dont want him hearing all the swearing.

ok i have a couple of questions, 1. once 360 comes out will we see more content like a 50 person matchmaking game type? 2. 3 friends and i were playin a custom gme on relic and after about an hour my friend sayhey71 and i saw what looked to be a pale white spartan hover up to the ramp from the ground and then disappear. we were the only ones to see it and it couldn't of been any one that was currently in the party cause every1 were in whogs right bhind us. so do u think this could have been some bug in the system?? 3. would u guys ever consider putting a pelican into gameplay. i mean think about pilling 4 or 5 guys into a pelican and dropping them and a whog into a key flanking position to steal the flag and get a clean get away in the whog. i mean that sounds ideal for a large map like cantainment or coag. 4. is there any way to tone down the effects of bein host. cause i'll play some1 in a slayer match and they get host and just destroy my team with the 3 shot kills and then i'll play them again when neither of us r host and i'll dominate. thanks

if bungie made an installment to get rid of modding, why are they appolgizing for it not working. For all we know, that thing could have been a -blam!-in virus that some -blam!- installed to -blam!- with our xboxes.
