I just make sure I turn the corners efficiently and not hit things... This usually makes it so that I don't get pushed out of the way, If I do get pushed and crash then I get straight back on my sparrow, chase the leader down and overtake them again..... go for the win!

Yeah, turning corners has gotten easier for me, probably the armor. So long as everyone doesn't pack up like a roll of hot dogs in one tight turn. All we'd need is Oryx to light the grill and bam, ya got a Guardian Picnic! But yeah, go for the win! Or at best the top three!
