Build your own sparrow?
Please bungie make this happen. It only needs ability to assemble your sparrow from parts which you could get by racing
Also give Amanda some sparrows to test from daito, suros and omolon and when you have tested enough of lets say daitos sparrows you get custom parts from them. Please!!

I'm all for this. I love my Solscout but it would be nice to give it a custom paint scheme that matches my favorite shaders rather tahn having to find a shader that matches it.

"ill bring this to the devs" One month later... Deej's weekly update. We "appreciate" the feedback on wanting to build your own sparrow so by popular demand we have add this a new mode to where you can customize your sparrow. Here are your options. Customize paint 10 different rocket thrusters. They all have different functions to fit your needs. 10 Customize body types. You no longer have just one body type. With them 10 customized body types we also added interchangeable parts. You will now have 30 different selection to fit your needs. Your sparrow now has light levels. This will allow you to perform various trick. The higher the light level. The better the trick. We also added weapons to your sparrow. You now have the option to chose 10 different weapon types and a added bonus. We added smoke screen, exploding oil capsules that shoot out of the back of the sparrow and 5 other things. Only for $30 but if you buy now will add the weapons and exploding capsules for another $10.

Edited by MAD X H0USE: 12/10/2015 2:53:00 PMI don't know if it would make sense to build your own sparrow in terms of Parts affecting speed/Boost/Durability/etc. Unless the Highest level parts available did not exceed current maximum values of Trick Sparrows or Overdrive Sparrows respectively. For example... You could have two main engine archetypes. A trick Engine and an Overdrive Engine. Each Archetype could have various options for boost color, similar to the Engine Upgrades that Xur sells. Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Etc... Their stats would match current standards for similarly available archetypes such as the Tumbler or TimeBreaker. Customizable parts could include: –Engine –Body –Seat –Rear End/Tail Light –Handle Bars –Front "Wings" –Front Wing Special Effect –Pedals –Back Wings Custom Paint Jobs could be earned in Various ways, such as winning/Completing X number of races, Doing so many tricks in a single race, etc. Special ones could include hitting and killing certain Alien Enemies on each map, causing an opponent to wreck and blow up, and so on.

^^This is brilliant, the new sparrows have decent variety but there are only like two base models for sparrows: the typical arrowhead ones and the new two-pronged ones. Plus it seems like SRL is a success so far so it really ought to be built upon. I can play competitively in nice short games where everyone is on even ground, plus we get 320 gear? Sign me up
