Halo ODST sucks!
Just bought my pre-ordered copy of ODST tonight. Picked it up at 12:22 am and quickly drove it home to play. Already had friends lined up to do 4 player co-op. $60.00 for 3 new multiplayer maps that will be free in another 2 months, and a 5 hour campaign... That doesn't sound good I thought, but then this is Halo and we have all of the previous titles and loved each one. That list includes Halo Wars... Therefore I thought that this one has to be good. Long story short, the 4 of us all agreed that this is a terrible game which is chock full of shortcuts and unpolished hogwash. I plan to take my copy back to the store when it opens for my money back! Bungie - This is not worth $60.00 - not even close. This is a crappy game and that is coming from a Halo-fanboy. You guys lost a customer tonight. I won't buy another one of your titles. I am extremely disappointed by this game.

Most of these hate-topics are created by trolls, the rest are created by people who just don't know a good thing when they've got it. ODST is a better game than you deserve.

Message to everyone in this thread. The op is simply having a cry over the fact that he really sucks at the game (and all games too probably). I had a blast with the campaign and the only bad part was the warthog run at the end (quite frustrating on legendary) but other then that it was very intense.

Firefight has no Matchmaking which i think is an absolute joke i feel so ripped off

No - I couldn't care less. Bungie could set some of you on fire and make you pay for water and you guys would still love them. As I said before I am a loyal fan. BTW - tell me why the game has only been out for 2 days and it has already dropped in price by $10.00 on Amazon and at Costco. LOL - Bungie - you know this isn't your best work. Halo may have a terminal illness.

1st of all bungie didnt rate this. this was ment to be an expansion but it had to much stuff so it was classified as a game. this is kinda like a motiver till reach comes out. its not ment to be the most amazing game ever (even tho i think it is) its like a mini gift till reach is out. reach is a full game not odst even tho its priced $60. also bungie is making milliions of of their games the loss of one person wont even change the percent on the profit there making of it

As for Costco, they ALWAYS have low prices. I shop at Costco. Getting the entire bundle of GH: WT was cheaper to buy at Costco on launch day than at GameStop.

It say's it on the box, whole new campaign and 3 multi-player maps. FireFight was thrown in for good measure. Anyway, ODST is not a usually high retail price. £30 on Amazon, £40 in game. They are getting away with charging as much as £55 for some new titles, notably COD/MW2. To be honest, I would pay £30-40 any day for a Halo game, they are in my opinion the best games ever created, even above Tomb Raider, Gran Turismo, MGS. Unless they have a [i]really[/i] good reason; anyone who complains about £30 for a game needs a good kick in the ass!

good, another 12 yr old out of the community, and next time mention firefight, the best part of the game. the campaign's fun, try beating it by yourself, not with your 10 yr old friends. then try beating it on legendary, then try getting the stupid vidmasters! WOW! there's so much more in the game, and then you have the halo 3: mythic. man, your very sad.
