Now that challenge mode has dropped, or at least the first one, people seem to be complaining even more. This I don't understand. "Defeat bosses in a certain way to gain more loot". Isn't this what people are asking for? All I see on the forums concerning the raid is that people aren't always getting max level gear and that it's pointless because of that. Soo.....bungie comes in and makes a way to guarantee 320 gear. How does the community react? "Wow bungie, making it easy to get good gear now? Bungie caters to scrubs....blah blah blah". They did what you asked for and you're not happy? Wtf is wrong with you people? Oh wait, it's because you have to complete the challenge by killing the boss a certain way and you don't like being told what to do. Whether it's different from what you do normally or not. I'm sry but I see this all the time in raids. "Do this part my way or you will be booted". How is challenge mode any different than that? [spoiler]it's not[/spoiler] If you think it's too easy, remember, it's just week 1. Only 1 challenge has been implemented, the coming ones could prove to be difficult. I for one, think challenge mode is a great addition because it guarantees good loot and makes it slightly more challenging to complete. Now this is the part where people will call me out because I haven't done hard mode or whatever, but I really don't care. I'm just stating things as I see them. Bottom line is this community, namely these forums, is toxic. So if anything is "killing" destiny it's you, the community. Bungie listens and makes fixes and patches and evolves the game as it goes and I give them a lot of props for having to deal with us. I love this game and play when I can which, admittedly, is less than I used to because of life. But people have to remember, it's just a game! The problem is people don't play them to have fun anymore. We would be much better off if we did. Anyways, that is all. End rant.
