Truth man and why send in the guy or girl that was reborn yesterday alone to fight all these bosses that pose a major threat to humanities survival. And what makes you as the character so much more powerful than the thousands of guardians that apparently died at the hands of Crota during a single battle? And during the speakers speech in the end cut scene why doesn't he give you any credit for killing the "god" in the black garden single handedly bringing back the travelers hope for survival. They give no evidence towards the fact that you can face down enemies that slayed thousands of your predecessors. which leads you to believer either guardians were much much weaker 100 years ago (which there is no evidence for) or your power is actually pretty common. Which means nothing has ever actually came close to threatening the power that we possess. We are more like the predators(like in the movie Predator) than guardians hunting different species across the solar system with the limitation of being vastly outnumbered when we could wipe them out with ease if we had an army of even just 1000 guardians systematically feeding off each other's supers to have an infinite amount of supers wiping out everything in their path.
