So if I'm clear, this would replace Public events in a certain area with a more challenging encounter. I like the sound of that, although I think you'd need to expand the Patrol zone to give it some space.
Would there be multiple Seiges on different planets or would it be one location per week?

It would replace only the Taken encounter in that location and the siege only happens on one planet/moon each week (eventually if more patrol locations become available on that same planet or moon, they will also be effected)
