Hopefully all the spots are still their and not blocked off. It would make the map better than what it already looks like.

If I am late in pointing this out, sorry. "JH. A bunch of Covenant capital ships approaching a mysterious planet? Intriguing." Foreshadowing clue for Halo: Reach more than likely what's being referred to.

That is neat. You guys should edit the In-Depth posts to include the map overview. I know that they are posted somewhere else, but it would make it more in-depth.

hey man i still like the old school halo 2 maps headalog what a great so was congulation i like that there upgrading the old maps and bring them back. Good job Bungie for the great game experience and the great games

The Platform does not Float? Oh, no. In all seriousness, I thought that to be a excellent aspect to Midship. Bouncing to other parts of the map, either one on one for speed, or for tactical superiority in team games (was awesome) is awesome. As a Halo Fan, and in my opinion, I will miss this...especially after all the sweet time thinking about it. I would Love you if you could make it a forge object, and you could change how taught the platform is. Just saying... [Edited on 08.25.2009 2:01 PM PDT]

I just noticed how great the overall color and contrast is for this map. The detail in the bases, on the walls, etc. is just fantastic. I like how it's slightly more gloomy and dark, which is where the contrast kicks in on all the objects and structures. Although it is literally the same as Midship, it's clearly better by the looks.

For anyone that read "Ghosts of Onyx" I think this level is when a Covenant armada shows up near Onyx.

ok finally bungie get the picture - they got it right first time in H2 why change it, apart from the static platform they had to do something...sigh. oh well its an improvement i can see for the future. it looks nice. good job! no suck up intended trust me bungie staff are my number 3 on my alltime most hated. and im glad theres another big map. what is with that. this one better be good because so far h3=no good big maps! GL bungie life on a thread

This map looks so gorgeous... I wish we had seen more Covenant structures like this. The colors and design are stunning. Because it was assumed the Pious Inquisitor was part of the fleet of the First Battle of Earth and because it is luxurious, people assumed it was Regret's ship. I wish someone would have confirmed that in this update. :(

Can't wait to pan-cam out of this beast! BTW: Pan-cam had BETTER be in Reach. The lack of floaty platform still makes me dissapoint. I don't care about the ragdoll glitch really. [Edited on 08.24.2009 9:44 PM PDT]

So far, Heretic looks like it plays better than Midship! It also is superior, graphically, to Midship.
