The Sunbreaker Bandwagon

What is with the sheer number of people on these forums that think the Sunbreaker subclass is OP? It is easily countered by mobility skills and items such as Shade Step, Empyrean Bellicose, and Angel of Light. That's at least one extremely simple counter for every class. I understand that some people love to just keep pushing forward and rush everything during a match, but that's always been a death wish when dealing with a Titan. Now what's so different about Sunbreakers? Their ability to move and throw hammers makes it a similar super to the Golden Gun. Would anyone literally just stand still as the Golden Gun comes right at them? Not often. But it's surprising how many people just attempt to take hammers head on. The key is to move in more unpredictable ways, such as strong vertical mobility. When hammers are thrown in your general direction, simply evade and shoot the Sunbreaker down. My Empyrean Bellicose has won consistent 1v1 encounters against them. I just don't understand why most people can't adapt their playstyles to compete, and instead come on these forums to cry nerf and ruin this subclass. I know most people are upset with the new TITAN *cough* tank class *cough* subclass and its ability to not be one-hit killed by anything but supers, but that's what a tank class should be. The offensive capabilities aren't overwhelming enough to lower the damage reduction. I just don't see why everyone should have the same basic amount of health. This is Destiny, it's not a traditional fps where everyone is the same. These classes should have differences in stats, and changing this does no good to the game but please all the people too lazy to strategize. EDIT: There's so many people attempting to counter me that I doubt I'll get to them all. Please read the other posters' arguments before posting the same one please. EDIT 2: Many of you are refusing to acknowledge my points because you seem to think I main a Titan. Hell, if anything I main a Hunter. That's the class I started with and that's always been my go-to for most everything. I've played all three classes and all nine subclasses extensively and I know their ins-and-outs. I'm not some fool that is trying to defend my subclass from the evils of the world, so don't treat me as such. EDIT 3: Nice to know I'm not alone in my fight. Some have stepped forward to help show that Sunbreakers aren't as invincible as most would claim. It seems I'm not the first to have picked up a similar tactic in my fight against the new subclasses. Thanks to everyone for your input, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in the middle. EDIT 4: One day later, and this is still going. I'm currently at work, and I'll attend to as many responses as I can when I'm home. Until then, find more ammo to use against me. I tire of the same points showing up; they're almost as predictable as a flaming hammer. EDIT 5: Clips incoming! I've heard some claim a lack of credibility since I haven't posted clips of myself taking down Sunbreakers. I'm still at work at the moment, but I'll try to dig up a clip or two of my own once I'm home to prove my point. In the meantime, feel free to look up this same tactic; I'm sure you can find someone else demonstrating it for you. EDIT 6: I found a clip in my Game DVR that shows the basic strategy to use with Empyrean Bellicose/Angel of Light. It's not my best work, but it got the job done. I'll also make a clip using Shade Step once I step back into the Crucible as my Hunter. EDIT 7: I'm not sure how much longer this post will keep going, but I just thought I would let everyone know it's been a good run. If anything, I'm sure I've helped a few of you deal with those bothersome Sunbreakers and their undeniable strengths (and weaknesses). For the others that fail to heed my advice, I wish you luck in finding your own solution to your problems. I'm positive I'll run into a few of you someday in the Crucible (though I'm known to be far less civil while letting my weapons do the talking for me).

Best way to counter a SunBreaker: Teamwork, look it up people! Now I agree that the duration of the super is a bit much, but most other aspects of the super can be countered by either teamwork, or as stated above, unpredictable movements to avoid the hammers. But if you and your team work together against a sunbreaker, in my experience, it works.
